This 2 bedroom villa overlooks the upper swimming pool of the Quinta da Saudade with a magnificent view towards the sea. It is set amongst beautiful landscaped gardens on a small privately owned estate of some 24 acres. The Quinta is an old hillside farm with orange, olive and almond trees. Situated 5 miles west of Albufeira and 40 minutes drive from Faro airport and is about a mile as the crow flies from the sea. Casa do Pavao is the only villa on the Quinta that you can enter without negotiating steps.

Accessibility
Casa do Pavão is the only house on the Quinta da Saudade where there are no steps to negotiate to enter the house.
Outside
A spacious roof terrace, providing extra room for private sunbathing.
A terrace to enjoy family meals with a further, more secluded terrace to the side with a built-in barbecue. A magnificent uninterrupted view over the Quinta da Saudade's upper pool towards the sea and Salgados wetlands.
Coast/Beach
The Quinta is about a mile, as the crow flies, from the sea and within a 4 mile radius of several superb sandy beaches. Surfing, scuba-diving, fishing and birdwatching particularly on the Salgados wetlands are all within easy access.
Golf
It is a mile from Salgados Golf Course, with many other golf courses easily accessible.
Travel
Faro airport is 40 minutes away.
Car hire is strongly recommended.
Distances
The Ancient town of Silves with its Moorish castle is a 20 minute drive away from the Quinta. Albufeira and Amacao de Pera are 6km away. Both enjoy active nightlife.
Further details
The Quinta da Saudade is 5 miles west of Albufeira and easy driving distance to Silves, the ancient capital of the Algarve, with its impressive Moorish castle, the hills of Monchique and the many attractive and uncrowded beaches. Albufeira and Amacao de Pera with their vibrant nightlife are a short drive or taxi ride away.
The old converted farmhouse on the Quinta is a restaurant serving excellent food and in the season there are weekly barbecues at the pool bar. There are also many excelant restaurants in the vicinity.
Nearby 'Slide and Splash' and Zoo Marine provide excellant entertainment for the children. The use of all the amenities on the Quinta are included in the price with the exception of the tennis court for which there is a small charge.
