Hacienda is a beautiful and spacious 1 bedroom detached villa located 5-10 minutes drive from the beautiful blue flag beaches of Vale do Lobo, Dunas Douradas, Vale do Garrao, Ancoa and Quinta do Lago. It is peacefully and privately located with its own large swimming pool. It is surrounded by lush gardens, shrubs and trees. The villa is situated in the grounds of the highly acclaimed Sao Gabriel Restaurant (Michelin 1 star). Sao Gabriel is situated mid way between Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo, both of which offer excellent golf courses. A second villa with 2 bedrooms, sleeping 4, is also available. Changeover day
Saturday to Saturday preferred but flexibility may be possible. Arrival after 3.00pm and departure by 10.00am.

Notes on accommodation
Satellite TV, CD player, Internet connection (please ask for dongle). Air-conditioning in bedroom and living room. Safe and alarm system installed.
Accessibility
The garden and pool are only accessible via steps with no handrail and would not be suitable for anybody with walking/mobility restrictions.
Outside
Barbecue terrace (35sq.m) with patio furniture and sunloungers. Electric sun blinds. There are steps and a path leading to the beautiful extensive gardens and pool. The villa is in a secluded and private position, hidden away to the rear of the restaurant. Neither the garden nor the villa can be seen by restaurant guests who would not be aware of the villa's existence. Please note that it is possible for the pool to be heated out of peak season during May/June and September/October. There would be a charge of 25 euros per day for this. Heating is not offered earlier or later in the year. We must point out that the pool is a large, irregular shape with a central island and therefore cannot be covered to retain the heat. Therefore the temperature of the pool when heated cannot be guaranteed.
Coast/Beach
The beautiful blue flag beaches of Quinta do Lago, Vale do Garrao, Ancoa and Vale do Lobo are within a 5-10 minute drive offering restaurants, bars, sun loungers, beach umbrellas, water sports and parking facilities.
Travel
Faro airport is approx. 25 mins drive (17.2 km).
Distances
1km to the supermarket at Vale do Lobo and 2km to Bougainvilea Plaza/Quinta Shopping at Quinta do Lago. Both resorts offer many restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes. A car is considered essential in order to visit the beaches and enjoy the surrounding area. The town of Almancil is approx 5km.
Further details
Sao Gabriel restaurant is well acclaimed and holds a Michelin 1 Star - the ideal place for a special meal. There is also a Thai Garden restaurant within the grounds for outdoor eating. Vale do Lobo is a world famous resort set in acres of woodlands and golf courses sloping to the cliffs and sandy beaches. The famous Barrington Sport and Health Club offers excellent facilities, a 30 bay driving range and a tennis academy (visitor membership would need to be purchased). Quinta do Lago is one of the most luxurious and exclusive resorts in Europe, set in 2000 acres of unspoilt pinewoods, lush green championship golf fairways and lakes. The resort overlooks the Ria Formosa nature reserve that leads down to the Atlantic Ocean with its excellent sandy beaches. It is just 3 minutes by car to the Buganvilea Plaza and Quinta Shopping.
Booking notes
Please contact Marie who looks after the initial booking procedure on behalf of the owners. A deposit of 25% of the total rental is payable on booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Payments to be made directly to Sao Gabriel by bank transfer in euros.
