This spacious villa has 3 double bedrooms and fantastic open plan living, leading down to and overlooking sunbathing terrace with BBQ and private pool. Casa Da Videira is very highly finished to make this a perfect home from home for families to holiday in. It is ideally situated in the Eastern Algarve close to roads for access to the best beaches, towns and attractions in the Algarve. It is in a countryside location with views of the sea and San Miguel Mountain. The garden and pool area is ideal for evening BBQs. Quelfes is a typical quite Portuguese village with two convenience stores, a church square and cafe. Restaurants are plentiful within a very short drive. Olhão is the nearest town, 5 minutes drive away and is the largest fishing port in the Algarve. Restaurants, shops and local markets are easily accessed from this ideal location.

Changeover day
Flexible, but clients vacate the property at 10am on the day of departure and that on the day of arrival not before 4pm, depending upon bookings.

Kitchen: Large fully equipped kitchen with breakfast bar, large gas range oven & hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and ample crockery and cutlery. Island unit with breakfast bar.
Utility Room: There is a pantry leading off the kitchen and a laundry room to the front of the property.
Living Rooms: The very large open-plan living room looks out through patio doors onto the pool, garden and BBQ area. The dining area has a table and seating for 6 people, and the lounge area, which has an woodburning stove for winter evenings, seats 8 people.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels, beach towels and linen provided, these are changed and washed weekly. Pool cleaned daily. Property must be kept clean and tidy at all times. Cleaner can be arranged if required.

Notes on accommodation
The pool has a Roman end with wide steps leading into a 1m shallow end, making it ideal for children, but they will always need supervision around the pool (the deep end is 1.5m deep). A cot are available for babies/toddlers, plus a high chair (these must be requested in advance). Pool and garden maintenance is provided. Pets are not permitted. There are fans for the summer and heaters for the winter. There is no smoking in the house and charges would be incured if this was reported.

Outside
Large garden with BBQ, shaded among almond trees and Pergola. Sun loungers, parasols, tables and chairs are all supplied as are pool towels. The country lane leads to the village and access to a main road which takes you to the rest of the Algarve. Some road noise but not enough to interrupt the fantastic views, countryside walks and gorgeous sunshine. The pool is 8m x 5m with terracotta terracing. The garden is south facing, getting the sun all day, with views of the countryside and distant sea views. The grounds have been professionally landscaped with an adjacent orchard bursting with fruit trees. There is also a small play area with swing and climbing ladder. The property is close to roads for easy access to explore the Algarve.

Coast/Beach
The local beach is Fuzeta, just a short drive away. Other unspoilt beaches can be easily reached, they are considered among the best in Europe, yet remain fairly uncrowded.

Golf
Golf is available only 10 minutes away at the Colina Verde 9 hole course, ideal for beginners and those who wish to practice their short game. The Benamor course near Tavira is about 20 minutes way and boasts an 18 hole course. Quinta do Ria and Quinta do Cima, and the new Monte Rei Course are all within 30 mins drive. Please note, if you wish to play golf you will need your handicap certificate (not required at Colina Verde) and soft spike shoes. Major courses to the East and West of the Algarve are only ½ hour away. If you are including partners on the trip who do not play golf why not treat them to some pampering at the local spa only 10 minutes drive away, ask us for further information or to book.

Travel
Faro airport is less than 30 minutes away. The house has good access to the motorway and EN125 (coastal road). This makes access to all tourist attractions, water parks, golf courses and even Spain very easy. Car hire is necessary as public transport is not easily accessible from the house. It is best arranged in the UK before you depart. You can pick up your car at Faro Airport when you arrive, and leave it there when you return home.

Distances
Olhão 5 minute drive. Moncarapacho 5 minute drive. Tavira 15 minute drive. Faro 15 minute drive.

Further details
A selection of typical Algarve restaurants are nearby, as are the towns of Moncarapacho & Olhão. The Ria Formosa Nature Park, ideal for bird watching, is only 5 minutes away. Moncarpacho is a charming small town with a selection of restaurants, a bank, pharmacy, post office and Petrol station. It also hosts a huge Sunday market every 1st Sunday of the month. Olhão has a superb local character as yet untouched by tourism. A must see is the local market on the seafront where you can pick up freshly caught fish everyday (except Sunday). It is a large town with plenty of restaurants, particularly specializing in seafood.

Booking notes
Deposit of 20% total rental price is required at time of booking with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. An additional £200 breakage deposit cheque is required which will be refunded at the end of your stay on a satisfactory report from management.
