Situated on the Lisbon Coast, Villa Dolce Vita is as the name suggests a modern luxurious, high quality, individually designed and furnished villa, completed in 2006. Located within a small quiet cul de sac in a private residential area of Ribamar. Ideal for large or small groups/families, the villa is within a few minutes drive from the picturesque town of Ericeria, famous for its quality beaches, restaurants, boutique shopping and relaxed atmosphere. The capital city of Lisbon, or excursions to Mafra, resorts of Cascais and Estoril are all within 40 minutes drive, as are a number of quality golf courses.

Changeover day
Changeover is normally restricted to weekends, but some flexibility may be possible. Guests are normally unable to gain access to the villa until 4pm on the day of arrival and must be prepared to vacate by 11am.

Notes on accommodation
Fans are provided for summer months. For cooler months the villa has underfloor heating and a wood burning fireplace in the living room.
Accessibility
The villa is situated over 3 floors. The lower floor bathroom and bedrooms make it suitable for guests with slight mobilitiy problems - advise that you call us to discuss in more detail.
The villa is family friendly, with buggy, cot, high chair and car seats available as well as a range of toys, games and DVDs. The property is fully gated. The pool (whilst having a cover) is openly accessible so infants and young children need to be supervised at all times.

The villa is located on a spacious 500sq.m plot offering:
Private terraces with dining facilities for 10 and a built in BBQ (and sink), ideal for alfresco dining.
Small childrens play area.
Private 8 x 4m pool (depths range from 1m - 1.8m approx).
10 sun loungers (with soft covers) and other pool furniture.

Coast/Beach
The villa is well place allowing access to a number of beaches within a 10 minute drive. The closest being Praia da Ribheria d'Ilhas beach which is a couple of minutes drive or 15 minutes walk from the villa.
Golf
Golf is widely enjoyed within the region, with Praia del Rey golf course, ranked no.1 in Portugal by Peugeot's 2003 Guide and 13 best in Europe by Golf World just one of 14 courses within reasonable distance from the villa (approx 18-80km).

Special interest holidays
Surfing is the dominant sport in the area, with the famous Praia da Ribheria d'Ilhas beach, home of many world champion surfing and wind surfing championships. This beach enjoys a cafe area, surf school and like many of the beaches in the area, a life guard during the high season. Equally the area also offers fishing, diving and sailing. Alternatively you could discover the beautiful landscape on a mountain bike, horseback riding or by just hiking around or walking along the main prom.
Travel
Lisbon airport is the closest - 45km approx. Although flights to Porto and Faro should also be considered, although some 2.5 - 3 hours drive away. Thomsonfly fly direct to Lisbon from Manchester, as do EasyJet from both Liverpool and Luton. Direct flights to Lisbon also available from Gatwick - Monarch, Luton - EasyJet and Birmingham - BMI Baby.
The villa is well-placed for access to the motorway network.
Car hire is highly recommended, although there is a bus stop at the end of the road.

Ericeira - 3km. Lisbon - 45km. Mafra - 10km. Sintra - 20km. All approx. The small adjacent village of Ribamar has 2 supermarkets, butcher's, baker's, restaurants, cafes and bars and is approx 10 minutes walk away.
Further details
If watersports or golf is not your thing, the less inclined visitor may simply want to relax around the pool or beach or alternatively sit back in one of the many pavement coffee shops and bars and enjoy the atmosphere or take in a round of crazy golf !
Booking notes
A non-refundable 25% deposit secures your booking; the balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. A bond of £200 is added to your final payment to cover any breakages. This will be refunded within 14 days of your departure.

About the owner
Hello - I live with my husband and our young family in Billinge, Nr Wigan. Our villa is our 'home from home' and we take extra special care to ensure it provides people with all they need to have a great relaxing stay.
Having stayed in many villas prior to buying our own and being disappointed with the facilities etc, I have made it my mission to ensure our villa is equipped with everything you or your family could possibly need or require.
Equally, I understand the importance of providing excellent customer care from the initial booking enquiry, during and after your stay, as I fully appreciate the investment (both financial and emotional) made when deciding on where to stay.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We decided to buy a villa in Ericeria as the area retains all the charm of Portugal is very relaxed and ideally located with lots to see and do in the area. This includes Lisbon which is only half an hour away, thus the airport transfer is also quick especially useful if you have a family to care for.
The local area offers really good value when it comes to shopping and eating out, as it is yet to become as 'commercial' as the likes of the Algarve.
Local people are also very friendly and helpful. Our representatives also live close by so are on hand to help or offer advice if needed.
Unique benefits of the property
We feel our villa offers families and large groups all the facilities needed to have a great stay, whilst also providing and benefiting from many home comforts.
The villa boasts a larger than normal private swimming pool, Sky TV (including children's and sport packages), full size slate bed pool table and pub table football, not to mention xbox, games etc.
The villa is large and can easily provide accommodation for a large family or number of families and given the unique layout, five bedrooms and four bathrooms and provides lots of internal and external personal space in which to relax.
