Notes on accommodation
Heating is available in Winter months. A cot can be provided at an extra cost. Telephone can be provided for long lets.
The villa is suitable for small children as the pool can be gated close to the villa.
Outside
Accessed via a short track, this is a tranquil spot with beautiful landscaped and lawned gardens filled with flowers and fruit trees. The villa is set in over an acre of private grounds. There is extensive terracing with access from the living room and 2 bedrooms which leads down to the lower sun terraces surrounding the private pool (10m x 5m). There are 6 sunloungers. There is a barbecue accessed fom the upper terrace.
Coast/Beach
The beaches of Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are only 20 mins away by car. Further afield there are beaches with rocky formations at Albufeira.
Golf
There are numerous world class golf courses within a short distance from the villa. Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, San Lorenzo (ranked in the top 6 in Europe), Villamoura and many more down the coast.
Travel
Faro Airport is 15 mins away (10km). Car hire is essential.

The nearest village is Santa Barbara de Nexe (1km)
Faro and Loule are 15 mins away. 3km to tennis. Beaches from 12km away.
Further details
Santa Barbara and the surrounding area has a wide selection of restaurants ranging from typical Portuguese fayre right up to five star cuisine. The village has a bank, post office, butchers, chemist, mini market, hairdressers, hardware store and a beautiful church in the centre.
