New fully furnished 3 bedroom apartment in quiet area, 2 minute walk from waterfront. The apartment is on 2 floors, has a large sea facing terrace with barbecue and shower. There is a pool set in secure grounds for use by adjacent apartments, and underground parking space for one car. Situated in the traditional fishing village of Cabanas which has numerous cafes, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Benamor golf course is just 5 mins drive away and there are 2 others within 15 mins drive. The beautiful market town of Tavira with its riverside cafes and cobbled streets is less than 10 mins away, with Faro airport being 35 mins by motorway. Spain is less than 20 mins away.

Changeover day
Any day of the week is possible. Normal arrival time is after 3pm and the apartment should be vacated by 10am. Times can be flexible depending on adjacent bookings.

Coast/Beach
Cabanas is situated beside the Ria Formosa lagoon with excellent unspoilt sandy beaches which continue along the coast to Manta Rota, 2 mins by taxi boats across the Ria. The beach has a supervised swimming area, first aid post, changing facilities, 2 cafes, water sports and sun loungers. From Tavira the beaches at Isle da Tavira can be accessed by boat. Manta Rota is a 15 min drive and Monte Gordo a further 10 mins away.
Golf
Benamor golf course has views of the mountains and is 5 mins away from the apartment and offers a tight and challenging round. Quinta da Ria with beautiful sea views and Quinta da Cima are within 10 mins. The new Jack Nicklaus signature course at Monte Rei is open and is a further 5 mins away and the course at Castro Marim a 25 min drive.
Travel
The nearest international airport is Faro a 35 min drive. The nearest railway station, Conceicao (10 mins walk) connects with Faro, the Western Algarve and East to Spain. Car hire available (contact details supplied) at the airport and locally. There is also a coach pick up and drop down in Cabanas to/from the airport (details supplied).
Distances
Tavira Medieval market town is less than 10 mins, Faro 35 mins, Monte Gordo 20 mins, Spain 20 mins, Seville 90 mins. All of the Algrave is reachable within the hour.
Further details
There are several cash machines around Cabanas and a bank on the sea front. A small post office is open weekday mornings. There are several supermarkets within Cabanas and two large supermarkets are to be found in Tavira. There is also the Forum Algarve shopping mall in Faro with its excellent shops, jumbo hypermarket and plenty of restaurants.
Booking notes
Non refundable 25% deposit to be paid at time of reservation, balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival date. Bookings made less than 6 weeks prior to arrival to be paid in full. A damages deposit of £70 to be paid with the balance, returned after departure and return of keys. We advise you to cover risks of cancellation in your holiday insurance.
