Several golf courses are within easy reach and the Rio Formosa Nature Reserve islands beckon with their long, uncrowded sandy beaches. Good access to the A22 motorway brings Faro airport, central Algarve entertainments and even Spain within 30 minutes drive. Villa is approved and licenced for holiday letting.

Changeover day
Thursday change over is preferred but we are flexible within availability. To allow for cleaning on change over days please vacate by 10am and occupation on arrival is 2pm.

Notes on accommodation
The villa was built new in traditional Algarve style with a very spacious open plan living area. House and all around pooldecks all on one level. All rooms have direct access to the pool which affords an idyllic indoor/outdoor living style. Smoking is allowed outside only the villa and sorry no pets. A welcome pack of wine, beer and some fridge essentials is provided to set your holiday off to a good start.
Outside
Two spacious pool decks facing south and west with barbeque, sun loungers umbrellas, several tables and chairs for alfresco dining and also shade over veranda. A very private pool, no overlooking houses, surface area "L" shaped 24 sg.mts from shallow 1.2mts to 1.9mts at the deep end and in the cooler months heated by a large solar installation. The property is securely fenced on 3800sqm land and complete privacy is secured by an intercom controlled main gate. A pebble driveway leads around to large shady parking, convenient for handicapped visitors to negotiate the garden, house, pool terraces all on one level free of ramps and riser steps. A large mature, garden with Palm trees, grass lawns for the children to romp around and some very old oak, olive and carob trees.
Coast/Beach
Several offshore islands with long uncrowded white sandy beaches are easily accessed by regular small ferries or "aqua taxis" docking 5 to 10 minutes drive away, some by a favourite miniature rail train. Also several mainland beaches are within a short drive by car with close up parking facilities.
Golf
Many top golf courses are an easy drive away. Closest heading East is Maragota 10min. Benamore, Quinta da Ria 15min., Castro Marim and many more only 30 minutes across in Spain. Going west is Val de Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura etc only 25 minutes.
Travel
Faro Airport is within a 25 minutes drive. A car is essential and can be pre-booked for hire from Faro airport on a pick up and return basis.
Distances
Moncarapacho village is 3 Km, Tavira, Olhão, Estoi and São Bras 15 minutes. Faro Hyper shopping Mall is 20min. Central Algarve's bustling entertainments, waterworlds, oceanarium to swim with dolphins, luxury boat cruises along the spectacular coastline all within 30 minutes drive.

Casa Monte Fava is managed as a holiday villa by the owners a retired couple from S. Africa, they have another holiday villa please refer to property Ref: P6170 also a Cottage P1766. They love the Algarve and are keen to furnish more photos or advice so that you may make a happy choice and return year after year. (We speak English, German, Zulu, some Portuguese and follow Flemish/Dutch.)
Booking notes
A 25% deposit secures the booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks before arrival. Online payment via PayPal is available and our Portuguese bank also accepts cheques in sterling.
