The newly- renovated property is surrounded by an extensive tiled patio with double door access from all the rooms and has a large, beautiful Mediterranean garden offering total privacy. The rear of the house has unspoilt, rural views over the national park with a beautiful beach only 5 mins by car. The house is fully managed by a local agency and comes fully equipped with all bedding, linen, cutlery and kitchen utensils. There is a washing machine, satellite TV, DVD player and stereo, patio barbeque, etc. Situated down a rural track on the edge of Vila do Bispo village, the property is ideal for children as there is no traffic except for an occasional herd of cows. It is an easy 5 minute stoll into the village which has all amenities, including a great morning fish and fruit market.

The house has a large driveway with room for 3 cars, double iron gates to the front.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach to the property is Castelejo,surely one of the most beautiful,unspoilt beaches in Europe (5 mins by car), accessed via a dramatic winding road down through the park. Wild and invigorating, Castelejo has 3km of golden sands backed by dramatic cliffs, and the Atlantic breakers attract surfers from all over the world. It is also famous for its amazing sunsets which can be viewed from the cliff top or over a glass of white wine from the beach restaurant/bar.

Golf
The nearest golf course is Parque da Floresta (6km or 10 minutes by car). Numerous other courses between Vila do Bispo and Lagos/Faro.

Travel
Faro airport is 113km away on the motorway which is accessed from Lagos (one and a quarter hours by car). Car hire is recommended and is very cheap, especially if booked online.

Distances
Beautiful beaches at Zavial, with its crystal clear waters, and Ingrina are 10 minutes by car, ideal for family swimming and snorkelling. 5 minutes walk into Vila do Bispo village. Sagres beaches and fort are 9km (10 minutes by car). Spectacular cliff views and historic 18th century lighthouse at Cabo Sao Vicente, the most south-westerly point of Europe, 12km. Lagos is 22km (25 minutes by car). Salema fishing village and beach is 15 minutes by car. 'Aqualand' waterpark is 30km (35 mins by car).

Further details
The village has all amenities including bank, ATM, daily traditional fresh fish and fruit market, pharmacy, petrol station, numerous excellent local restaurants offering traditional Algarve cuisine. Activities include all watersports, especially surfing and body-boarding, scuba-diving, fishing, spectacular nature walks, mountain biking, horse riding and birdwatching, all within 15 minutes by car. Numerous unspoilt sandy beaches and coves 5 -15 minutes by car.
