Notes on accommodation
Very spacious and moden luxury, detached property with no neighbours on either side yet close to all amenities. Air conditioning and heating throughout except bedroom four.
Woodburning feature fire in lounge.
Children: In terms of security the villa is good as it is gated front and back although the usual care is required on balconies and poolside. We have erected a mechanism to discourage small children gaining access to the poolside but we cannot take responsibility for children overcoming this. Parental vigilance will still be necessary. Please also note that we have glass topped tables in the lounge - these can be exchanged for non-glass if you have young children. Please advise our agent on arrival.

Amenities/Facilities provided

Outside
The villa has a front garden area where one car can be parked inside the gates - another can be parked on the road outside. There are no restrictions on parking. The back garden is taken up mostly by the pool and poolside area. It is also enclosed with a gate providing privacy and security. A BBQ with plenty of utensils, outside furniture - large dining table and chairs on a terrace provide great opportunities for outside dining overlooking the pool. Pool lights for evening dips.
Pool (9m x 4m) with plenty of poolside furniture and some pool games. A pool man cleans the pool once a week and checks the chemical balance. He has access to the pool only through the back gate so that guests are put to little inconvenience.

Coast/Beach
It's a five minute walk over open farmland directly to the Meia Praia beach in front of the villa. This beach is famous for its 5 kms of golden sand and dunes. Here you can find plenty of fine beach bars providing a variety of great food - many offer fresh fish. Some have live music. The Marina is a 7 minute walk and is great for 'people watching' from the waterside cafes and bars and musing over the fine array of yachts and sailing boats. Fantastic coastal cliff top walks are available.

Golf
Great location for access to a variety of top golf courses making this a golfer's paradise. The golf available is extensive and appropriate for all levels.The Palmares club is a five minute drive whilst Boavista and Parque de Floresta are 10 minutes drive. Penina is about 20 minutes drive.

Travel
Our nearest airport is Faro which is about a 45 minute drive away. The newly built toll free, motorway makes this an easy trip and it is very easy to find the villa.

Distances
The historic town of Lagos with its fine marina, walls, cobbled, winding streets, slave market, fort and churches as well as a bustling fish and fresh produce market is all within walking distance.
Plenty of lovely towns and beautiful country side to visit within a short drive.

On booking we send all clients a comprehensive guide to the villa and to the local area, full of useful hints and tips for you to make the very most of your holiday. Our managing agents - an English couple -will also meet you at the villa and go through everything with you and they provide emergency back up and support in case of any problems during your stay so that you have peace of mind. They also provide a no extra charge pre-arrival shopping service so that you have some essentials on arrival. You just pay the amount on the supermarket receipt provided. Nearest supermarket is a 3 minute drive or 7 minute walk.

Booking notes
10% deposit on booking confirmation with the remainder plus a refundable damage bond of £100 at least 6 weeks before the arrival date. An email confirming booking will be sent to you on receipt of your booking and a form to complete regarding pre-arrival details and shopping requests. A detailed information pack will be sent to you on receipt of full payment which will give you plenty of ideas of places to visit and details of the villa.
