Living Rooms: Large open plan lounge with dining table and chairs, satellite TV, radio/CD player and DVD for your entertainment. The room is air conditioned and opens onto the terrace.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen and towels provided. Bed linen changed weekly, towels changed twice a week and midweek clean.

 

Notes on accommodation
Air conditioning can also provide heating if required. The accommodation gives direct gated access to the pools, sun terrace and loungers, with the facility of locking the gate for child safety. A cot and highchair can be provided on request.
Pets are not allowed and smoking is only permitted outside.

Accessibility
The apartment is suitable for guests who require the use of a wheelchair. There is level access into the development from the highway and only a small step at the gate to poolside.

Outside
There is a terrace with table and chairs for al fresco dining, which gives access to swimming pool and children's pool. There is a further terrace outside each bedroom for private sunbathing. The gardens with lawn and hard landscaping are ideal for relaxing. Sun loungers are provided.

Coast/Beach
Praia da Luz has a beautiful EU blue flag rated sandy beach, but within a few miles there are numerous other beaches, such as Burgau, Porta da Mos, the endless beach of Meia Praia and sandy coves at Dona Anna. The west coast offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the Algarve.

Golf
The apartment is ideally situated close to several golf courses, three of which are in very close proximity. The nearest is Boavista, a Championship course where a handicap certificate is required.

Palmares, 10 minutes drive.
Parque da Floresta, 10 minutes drive.

Travel
Faro is the nearest airport, some 90km to the east of Luz. The journey takes about 1 hour by motorway. Nearest ferry port is Santander at 400km and a railway station at Lagos just 5km away. Car hire is not essential, taxis are available from both the airport and in Luz. There is also a very efficient bus service serving the local area and beyond.

Distances
Whilst Luz has several supermarkets and an excellent selection of restaurants and bars, the ancient city of Lagos with its beautiful marina, international restaurants and nightlife is only 5 minutes drive away. Historic Silves and the Monchique mountain range to the north are well worth a visit.

Further details
There are numerous watersports on the beach at Luz and a dive school at Lagos. Horse riding and sea fishing are nearby.

Booking notes
A 25% non refundable deposit is required when booking and the balance payable 8 weeks before departure. We also require a small key/breakage deposit which is fully refundable on return of the key and satisfactory apartment check.
