This beautiful and traditional property is situated in the peaceful and established residential area of Luz Parque, which is within easy walking distance to the shops, bars/ restaurants and the glorious Luz beach. Set within secluded and mature gardens,well stocked with shrubs, herbs and flowers, including its own lemon tree, it provides a variety of seating areas and total privacy. It has a bright and spacious lounge with dining area and patio doors onto dining terrace, which looks out over the Atlantic. A gas fire and authentic log burner as well as Satellite TV, DVD, CD player/radio. A well equipped kitchen (microwave,dishwasher,fridge freezer,etc.) is on this level. A few steps takes you down to the 2 twin bedrooms (one with doors to pool area). The huge master room with en-suite and doors to pool area also has a single bed suitable for a child. . All have fitted wardrobes. The property has been decorated tastefully to create a comfortable and homely atmosphere

Our preferred changeover day is Saturday especially during high season however where possible we will try to be flexible to meet your needs.

Bathrooms: Family bathroom: bath with shower wc.and bidet.
En suite to bed 1: wc, corner shower, bidet.
Separate wc.
Kitchen: Oven, hob, grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher.
Utility Room: Washing machine/tumble dryer within garage. Outdoor drying facility. Iron and ironing board are available.
Living Rooms: Lounge with a 4 seat sofa, 2 single chairs, satellite TV ( with English channels), DVD player, stereo/CD player, dining area table and chairs for 6, log burner and living flame gas fire.
Other: Study room, sun terrace facing the pool ( views over the Atlantic with dining table and chairs for 6. The pool is oval 5m x 8m, 1.1m at shallow / 2.2 deepest and freshwater, the gardens are maintained by a gardener and an automatic irrigation system.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Maid service is twice per week, excluding public holidays and Sundays. Linen is changed once a week and towels twice.

Air conditioning in master bedroom. Winter heating in all bedrooms. Living flame gas fire and log burner in lounge. Young children must be supervised around the pool area.

Outside
Private pool (5mts x 8mts oval) with outside shower and sun loungers, barbecue area and additional patio to rear. Drying area within garden as well as shaded parking area. The property is secured with a wall and large gates, and is very secluded.

Coast/Beach
A short walk to the beach at Luz, there are various water sports available during the summer months or 15 mins drive in either direction to the vast Meia Praia at Lagos which is best for wind surfing or the small and intimate beach in the fishing villlage of Salema.

Golf
4 top class golf courses are between 10/30 mins drive - Boavista, Parque da Floresta, Pennina and Palmares.

Travel
The nearest airport is Faro, 80km or 50 mins along the motorway. An excellent airport shuttle bus is available at approx 28 euros per person return and a taxi from airport to the villa is approximately 80 euros (details of recommended companies available on request). Car hire is not essential but can prove to be very useful for those guests who like to explore the surrounding areas, although there is also a very good local bus service.

Distances
Luz Parque is close enough to all local amenities but far enough away from traffic and beach noise to enjoy total seclusion and tranquillity (apart from the birds in the morning and the occasional dog barking).

Further details
There is a Spa, gymnasium and tennis courts close by and 'Tiffanys' English speaking horseriding school is a 5 minute drive away. If you fancy a break from the beach there is also Lagos Zoo Park, 15 minutes drive from the villa, where it has its own monkey island. Slide 'n' splash water park and the Zoomarine, which shows dolphin, seal and sea lion shows are a 30 minute bus or car journey from the villa about 10km from Albufiera.

Booking notes
A 20% non- refundable deposit or minimum of £200 is required in order to confirm your reservation, the outstanding balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £200 is required together with the final balance. The security deposit will be refunded to you by cheque,within 14 days of your return, once our local representative has checked the property inventory with you prior to your departure.
Cancellation between 8 weeks and the arrival date will require a payment of 75% rental.

Guest comments
We have decided not to advertise any of our clients comments as of course we can make them up ourselves. However so far thay have all been extremely positive-Fabulous villa, views, gardens, nice neighbours, great restaurants and basically everything we said it would be!
