Quinta do Licorne is a unique, secluded estate which has been lovingly refurbished and extended by the owners. The owners live within the grounds; however they offer complete privacy for their guests. The property contains Casa Donna Lisa and Casa Maxine plus a 30 sq m log cabin, and these lovely units are set in 12,000sq m of beautiful gardens and has large outside areas of lawns, ideal for socializing, with private bars. The accommodation is easily found, situated 14 miles East of Faro airport close to junction 15, A22, which gives easy access to the high life of the western Algarve, and Spain to the East, 30 minutes driving by car. The estate is completely secure with perimitor walls and fences with electric gates. The vilas are divided into 2 sections Casa Donna Lisa with log cabin and Casa Maxine which makes it suitable for a group of 17 guests to enjoy their hodays together but in separate accommodation but can be separated by a gated fence when required.

Euros accepted. Casa Maxine is available for long term winter lets, 2 months +, at £110 pw plus utilities up to end March 2009.

Changeover day
Any day to suit our clients. Occupancy commences after 3pm on day of arrival and ends at 10.00am on day of departure. This is necessary to prepare the villas for new guests.

Kitchen: fully equipped with gas cooker, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher.
Laundry room with washing machine, ironing board and iron.
Lounge room with large French windows and ceiling fans equipped with TV, DVD, CD player and video. Air-conditioning is available at extra £100 pw if required. The log cabin can be rented with Casa Donna Lisa if required. The log cabin is fully self contained with 2 single beds fully fitted kitchen with washing m/c, shower/toilet and is situated 100m away from Donna Lisa.

Kitchen is large and fully equipped with breakfast bar and ceiling fan, fridge freezer plus chest freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. South facing Lounge 12m x 5m with French windows overlooking the gardens. There is TV, DVD, CD and Video Player.

 

Notes on accommodation
Suitable for children. A cot and high chair is available at no extra cost. Ideal holiday retreat for children with plenty of lawned areas for children to play on. Ample car parking facilities for rented cars.

Outside
Casa Donna Lisa: Swimming pool is 8m x 4m x 1.2m deep kidney shaped all in a privately walled patioed area. Heating is optional at UK £100 pw. Ample sun beds and mattresses. Super outdoor bar equipped with radio CD player, fridge there is also a BBQ area. There is a jacuzzi with room for 5 persons, heating optional extra at £50 per week. Upstairs area also has a private patio with sunbathing area, tables, chairs and sun beds. There is ample car parking.

Casa Maxine: Barbecue and outside covered dining area with sun beds. The swimming pool is chemical free, with solar heating throughout the summer months; it is 11.5m long x 5m wide (1.2m at the shallow end and 2.2m at the deep end). If necessary, the swimming pool can be heated electrically at UK £150 pw. Around this pool are large patio areas for sunbathing. There is also a pool house with a kitchen, fridge, lounge with radio/CD player, toilet and shower.

Coast/Beach
Quinta do Licorne's two villas are approx 4 miles from the coast which has wonderful secluded beaches all along the eastern Algarve, with many Islands to visit which can be reached by cheap and cheerful ferry boats and have regular services and also have inexpensive coffee shops and restaurants.

Golf
There are many golf courses within 30 mins drive to the east and west. Quinta do Licorne has easy access to the motorway. In Moncarapacho there is a par 3 golf course and health centre and Tavira has several other quality 18 hole courses. To the west there are many world renowned golf courses close to the sea and beach facilities.

Special interest holidays
This property offers private secluded sun bathing terraces which cannot be overlooked and easy access to country lanes for long walks or bicycle riding.

Travel
Quinta do Licorne is approximately 14 miles to Faro airport (30 minutes by car).
Car hire is recommended.

Distances
Pereiro cafe bar and restaurant is 500 m down the lane. Moncarapacho 2 miles for quality inexpensive restaurants.
Olhao 5 miles for large supermarkets.
Faro city is 10 miles or 20 mins drive
Tavira city is 8 miles or 15 mins drive.

Further details
Quinta Do Licorne is situated in the hamlet of Pereiro, close to the village of Moncarapacho, Olhao. There is a bar/restaurant within 500 metres and the property is within easy reach of many other restaurants, supermarkets and bars. Regular ferries run to the many Islands. Seafood is delivered fresh daily to the fish markets in Olhao.

Booking notes
A 30% deposit (non refundable)is to be paid on confirmation of booking, the remaining 70% to be paid within 6 weeks of date of arrival. Please contact the Owners who have a booking form on their website. A breakage deposit of £300 is requested with each villa which is refundable in same manner given on verification of non damage to property and or fixtures and fittings or loaned items.

Guest comments
Book early as most of our bookings are taken from regular clients the day they leave. We have had regular complimentary comments throughout our years. We have friendly dogs which are enclosed within our property and our past guests (adults and children) have adored.
