This Moorish style, very spacious, 3-bedroomed apartment sits well on the small resort and is ideal as either a base to explore the Algarve, walk to the beach/Lagos, play golf locally or simply relax in the picturesque surroundings nestling in adjacent open countryside with views to the Monchique mountains. Completed in 2005, is elegantly furnished throughout and complete with full air conditioning. Each bedroom, lounge and kitchen have balconies for seating or enjoying the views. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern state of the art appliances. In addition to the main heated pool is a safe toddlers/baby pool and a shaded child play area with 'kids club' and tennis court. There is an excellent restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with the option of al fresco dining. The poolside bar is a favourite, to cool off during the day and to relax in those balmy evenings. A regular courtesy bus runs to Lagos and Luz, where you can take advantage of a high tech gym and health spa.

Notes on accommodation
This large apartment is a blend of modern appointments and traditional architecture, bright and airy with large patio doors to all rooms.Total floor area 1,360 sq.ft. All bedrooms and lounge have air conditioning (for cold or hot air). Underfloor heating throughout. Additional cots/highchairs can be arranged. 24 hour security. Free Wi/Fi internet access area on resort. Apartment (including balconies) and resort are child friendly and safe. Welcome pack included. Discounted golf, trips, leisure etc available through reception or Nicky and Steve. If you have specific or special requirements, please ask.

Outside
Extensive communal gardens. Full reception facilities (all trips, golf, excursions etc can be booked here). Large heated outdoor pool, children's pool. Tennis court and racket hire. Allocated car parking space, from here a lift will take you and luggage to the apartment. Patio set, table, 6 seats and 2 sunloungers to lounge balcony. Clothes dryer. 'Destinos' family resort restaurant is extremely popular and provides high quality breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, with service second to none at reasonable prices. They will also arrange for take away If you cannot tear yourself away from the balcony whilst watching the sun go down. Themed evenings, entertainment and BBQs are a regular feature in the Summer weeks. The large gardens are a real feature and include a small stream with fishpools. There is a designated shaded childrens play area, within sight of and adjacent to the pool area. Optional pool towel hire and unlimited use of resort bus is available at 10 euros a week.
Coast/Beach
Meia Praia, longest beach in Algarve, 5min car, 15 min walk. Lagos Beach, secluded with cliff backdrop, 5min drive. D'ona Ana. Typical stunning Algarve beach 8min drive. P'orta D Mos. As D' Ana. Luz Beach 12 min drive, Burgau (15 min), Salema (18min) Amados (Cornwall with sun) 30min drive.
Golf
Palmares, 5 min drive. Pennina, 15 min drive. Boavista, 15 min drive. Parque da Floresta, 20 min drive. Morgado and Alamos, 20 min drive. Pinta and Gramacho, 20 min drive. Discounts/T Times arranged on all Algarve Courses.
Travel
Faro airport 50 min drive. Car hire recommended but not essential. Car hire/transfers can be arranged. Cabs are very cheap and will take you anywhere.

Lagos, 1.5 miles. Luz, 5 miles. Burgau, 7 miles. Salema, 12 miles. Amados, 24 miles. Alvor, 11 miles, Portimao, 16 miles.

There are many quality shops and restaurants in Lagos. Eating in and around Lagos is a true inexpensive delight. Varied water sports/tuition, boat hire/trips/fishing available locally. 2 aqua parks within 20 mins drive. 3 zoos (1 marine) Lagos has several banks, supermarkets and a good tennis club(non members welcome) . Nearest small supermarket under 1 mile. Marina (shops, bars and restaurants) approx 1 mile. Average Winter daytime temperature is 18c and generally sunny. Monchique mountain range and Monchique village is approx 40 min car drive. The dramatic and rugged West coast (Amados) approx 45 mins by car. Local train runs from Lagos hugging coast all the way to Spanish border. Windsurfing/kiting 5 mins drive in nearby natural estuary (part of national park) and on Meia Praia beach. All boat hire, dolphin watching etc from Marina (5 mins by car). Horse riding arranged at reception. Good local tennis club in Lagos, coaching available with Ricardo. Sightseeing trips booked at reception.
Booking notes
25% deposit required at time of booking. Balance 8 weeks before commencement of holiday. A returnable 'breakages / damage' deposit of £100 is requested. We will send written confirmation together with all necessary details. You will be met and greeted by Nicky & Steve upon arrival who will look after you for the duration of your holiday. Golf discounts are available on all courses.
