Casa das Oliveiras (House of the Olives) is a beautiful 4 bedroom/4 bathroom villa which comfortably sleeps up to 10 people. It has its own south facing heated swimming pool, very large fully equipped pool terrace with BBQ and extensive garden with additional seating. Fully gated with offroad parking. Obligatory extra charge for aircon. Price includes all linen/towels, villa cleaning and services of English speaking local manager. Child cot and highchair available at no extra cost. The villa is only 20/25 minutes drive from Faro airport, on the outskirts of Moncarapacho, a wonderful location from which to enjoy the unspoilt Eastern Algarve. Wonderful island beaches, small villages, fantastic low cost food and of course outstanding golf courses all close by. The villa is exceptionally large and spacious, furnished to a very high modern standard and tastefully decorated throughout.

Bedrooms: Huge master en-suite bedroom with double bed, own private terrace with seating.
Bedroom 2 also en-suite with double bed.
Bedrooms 3 and 4 both twin bedded.
Lots of cupboard space.
1 single portable bed and cot available.
Bathrooms: There are 4 fully equipped bathroom/shower rooms all beautifully tiled.
The master bedroom en-suite has large walk-in Swedish style power shower, twin basins and bidet.
Kitchen: Large modern kitchen with granite work surfaces is fully equipped for up to 10. Built-in appliances include dishwasher, electric cooker, hob, microwave oven, fridge and freezer, kettle and toaster.
Utility Room: The utility room just off the kitchen contains a washing machine, iron and ironing board, brooms, mops etc.
Living Rooms: This villa has an exceptionally large lounge area with dining area off. With open fireplace and stylish quality furniture. There is satellite TV, plus DVD player. Double doors lead to the swimming pool and fully equipped pool terrace. Bliss!
Other: Digital safe in villa.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All bed linen (with exception of cot) and towels are provided. Some pool/beach towels also provided. Price includes midweek linen/towel change and villa cleaning.

 

Notes on accommodation
The villa has air conditioning in all 4 bedrooms and lounge, providing cool air during the summer and warm air in the cooler winter months. The pool is heated mid March to end October 2008 free of charge, but we do charge £75/wk for aircon mid March - end October 2008 and £50/wk for heating November to March 2009.

Accessibility
We believe the villa to be wheelchair accessible on the ground floor (3 bedrooms), lounge, dining area, kitchen and 3 bathrooms.

Outside
The villa to the front has grass and beautiful planting. The garden to the rear is a beautiful tropical planted garden with lots of typical Algarvean plants and stone and gravel. There is additional seating in the lower garden. The pool and terrace is south facing and fully equipped with loungers, large table and chairs, a large BBQ, and with excellent shading under the poolside terrace. The pool is 10m x 5m and heated free of charge.
Very large area for off road parking. Fully gated and walled.

Coast/Beach
Fuseta with its wonderful white sandy beach is only 5-6 miles away, there are many other outstanding beaches/islands to visit. Tavira, Olhao, Altura, Cabanas etc. There are boats and narrow guaged railways to take you to many offshore island beaches. Fun for all the family. Tavira has been voted the 4th best beach in Europe. Come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of uncrowded wonderful Eastern Algarve.

Golf
The Algarve has the best climate in Europe and it has some of the best golf courses. Within 25 mins to the West of the villa there is Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo courses, within 15-25 mins to the East there is Benamor, Quinta de Cima and Quinta de Ria. Over the Spanish border 25 mins away there are a further 5 golf courses, 2 are located at Ayamonte.
In Moncarapacho only 3 miles away there is a new 9 hole (described as tight) Par 3 course and within 4km there is a driving range, chipping area, and putting green, superb facilities for all the family.
We are happy to provide you with more golf information and internet links, so that you can book tee times before you arrive in the Algarve.

Travel
The villa is located approx 3 miles outside Moncarapacho, approx 25 mins from Faro airport on excellent roads. We feel car hire is essential to enjoy this unspoilt part of the world and are happy to recommend local car hire companies to you.

Distances
Faro airport is only 25 mins away by brand new fast motorway. Olhao, Estoi, Altura, Tavira and many more unspoilt villages/towns are all within 10-20 mins of the villa.

Further details
The small town of Moncarapacho is approx 5km away with supermarkets, bars, 3 excellent restaurants, petrol station, internet cafes, cash machines, museum etc. There is also an excellent bistro restaurant approx 0.8km (within walking distance) of the villa. Eating out in this part of the world on wonderful local fish, meats and wine is still incredibly inexpensive.

25% deposit required, balance 8 wks prior to holiday. We also require £200 breakage deposit, refunded within 14 days of holiday provided no breakages/losses.
