This well equipped, fully air conditioned/heated apartment in the Quinta da Gomeira development was completed in Summer 2006 to a very high specification. The apartment boasts one of the very best positions on the South edge of the complex, and is fully equipped for a long or short stay. Ideally situated in the picturesque fishing village of Cabanas, it is a short stroll from the centre with its numerous café-bars and restaurants serving delicious local fish and other dishes at affordable prices. The local Island beach has 3km of wide golden sands. Facilities include use of a choice of 4 beautifully landscaped and maintained swimming pools with a cafe, restaurant and bar on-site. There are 4 golf courses nearby. Cabanas is an ideal base for exploring the Algarve with regular train and bus services.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week and per day in UK pounds. Apartment is available for lets from 3 days upwards. Short breaks and long winter lets by arrangement.
Electricity and gas included.
Linen, towels, end of stay cleaning and meeting service/key handover, £50 charge for 1 week, £70 for 2 weeks.
Changeover day
Any day arrival is possible. Minimum stay is 3 nights. there is no maximum stay. Vacate apartment by 11am on day of departure. Arrive at apartment 3pm. These times are flexible depending on new arrivals.

Notes on accommodation
The air-conditioning/heating can be set to specific temperatures. The apartment is also suitable for young children as it overlooks the play area.
Outside
Balcony area overlooking a toddlers play area, with chairs to enjoy a nightcap while the sun goes down. Choice of four excellent swimming pools, each of which are gated and open all-year round each with its own immaculate garden. Also within 100m are tennis courts and parking is available within 20m of accommodation.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is a short stroll from the waterfront where a range of small boats offer a 2 minute boat ride to the uncrowded and unspoilt Praia de Cabanas Beach, with its beautiful white sand. Boats costs 1 euro return per person and run throughout the day (operating April to October). The beach has its own cafe bar, changing facilities and toilets. Parasol, sun bed, jet-ski and paddle boat hire are all available.
Golf
The Algarve has more than 20 golf courses, below are 4 examples of which are close by: Benamor golf course (less than 5 mins drive) is set in groves of trees on the lower slopes of the hills with striking mountain and sea views. The course offers a gentle, peaceful and fairly undemanding round. Par: 71 Length: 6017 yards. Quinta da Ria golf course (within 5-10 mins drive) offers spectacular views of the mountains and coast. Built on flattish terrain with greens that are slightly undulating and well guarded by bunkers and manmade lakes. Par: 72 Length: 6700 yards. Quinta da Cima golf course (within 5-10 mins drive) is situated across the road from Quinta da Ria. The two courses offer very different challenges. It is longer and tougher than its neighbour. Par: 72 Length: 6950 yards. Castro Marim golf course (within 20 mins drive)is set in rolling terrain against a hilly backdrop. There are impressive views of the nearby River Guadiana and the Atlantic Ocean.
Travel
Faro airport is 30 mins drive. Seville airport is 90 mins drive. Cabanas is an ideal base for exploring the Algarve having regular train and bus services close by. Spain is a short drive/train journey away. Car hire is not essential if you just want a relaxing holiday but recommended if you wish to explore the Algarve more fully or venture into Spain.
Distances
Tavira is less than 10 mins by car, bus or train. Spanish border 20 mins. Seville 90 mins. In 30 mins you can drive to Estoi (palace), Milreu (Roman ruins), Castro Marim Nature Reserve, Faro old town.
Further details
Cabanas offers a number of supermarkets, local butchers, bakers and greengrocers. There is a daily market of fresh produce and two fishmongers selling fresh fish. There are 3 ATM machines. There is a wide variety of cafes, bars and restaurants with the nearest good café being less than 50 metres away. Excursions are available with local departures to all of the Algarve's main attractions including Water Park and Zoo marine. Booking notes
Changeover dates are flexible. For stays longer than two weeks prices can be negotiated. The deposit is 20% per holiday with the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. For cancellations, a tiered refund will be paid based on the amount of notice given and only if we manage to replace the booking. An additional £100 deposit is required as deposit for any breakages/non key returns and this will be returned to you within 10 days of your departure.
