The villa has everything for large parties. It has an impressive lounge with 2 seating areas and a snooker table. All sliding doors give access to the terraces around the villa. From there it is just a few steps to get into the pool. There are 2 main terraces both with its own dining table. They both seat 20 people easily. One of them is conveniently situated next to the BBQ area. In the house there are 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The kitchen is not only large but really equipped to accommodate large groups. A key feature is the AGA stove. By being on a hilltop you have 360 degrees views to the country but also on the impressing coastline. You can enjoy all this from the terrace set in a mature garden. It is about 10 minutes drive to the beaches and the towns so you are away from it all but not remote. You have guaranteed privacy so whatever you do no neighbours around you can complain.

Prices shown are for the property per week in Euros and UK Pounds. Prices include weekly general cleaning and change of linen/towels. On request extra cleaning is possible and will be charged with 10 euros p.p including change of linen/towels and 7.50 euros p.p. if only cleaning is requested.
Changeover day
Saturdays are preferred but always negotiable. Villa will be ready by 4pm and should be vacated by 10am.

Outside
Portugal is outside living. The whole villa is shaped around the terraces and pool. The kitchen and living room are adjacent to the immense terrace. All around the terrace and pool is a beautiful mature garden providing you with natural shade. Down at the pool there is another terrace with a huge dining table and a very large BBQ. So all is there to enjoy the outdoor life and keep in mind from everywhere you have the views of the country but the most beautiful is of course the view of the coastline.
Coast/Beach
This stretch of the Algarve enjoys long sandy beaches. Between Tavira (18km west) and Monte Gordo (6km east) there are five Blue Flag beaches. The magnificent soft sandy beach of Praia Verde is not even a 15 mins drive from the Villa. Car parking, beachside restaurants and bars. Not without reason the Portuguese come to spent their holiday's in this area.
Golf
The villa is located 2 minutes from the signature golf course of Monte Rei which will open in Spring 2007. A Jack Nicklaus Design. At 10 to 15 minutes drive you will find another 4 golf courses.
Travel
We advise you to rent a car for your stay at Mansion Monte Galharda. The airport of Faro is about 40 mins drive and the Villa is only 12km from the Spanish border. The Spanish city of Seville is about 120km drive. A22 motorway is within 4km. Castro Marim railway station is 3km and Vila Real de Santo Antonio station is 10km. Bus stop 300m.
Distances
Mini market, bars and restaurants within 10 mins drive (Nova Cacela). Wider selection of shops and restaurants within 10 mins drive. Beach is just over 8km (Manta Rota).
Booking notes
We request a down payment of 30% of the total rental price to make the booking definite, balance payable at least 8 weeks befor arrival. with the final payment a 300 euros deposit will be requested. Directions are provided on receipt of final payment. Guests are met at the property on arrival and given the keys.
