Our well presented, air conditioned, 2 bedroom (1 en-suite) apartment has all modern facilities for a very comfortable self-catering holiday. The large sunny patio is accessed from both bedrooms and from the very well equipped kitchen which seats 4. The patio has outdoor furniture for 4/6 persons. The cool, calm lounge has TV (BBC/ITV) and DVD, along with a gas fire. There is ample parking outside the apartment. Tavira is a great place to wander stopping to sample the local catch at one of the many restaurants along the tree lined river. At the western corner of the river mouth is a ferry which runs all year round to the Tavira Island (Ilha da Tavira). The Island boasts a superb enormous sandy beach backed by tufted dunes, a scattering of cafe bars and restaurants and excellent water sports. The nearest golf course is Benamore with several more top quality courses within 20 mins drive. Horse Riding near by, Bicycle Hire available in town.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday or Sunday, but we are flexible out of season. The apartment is to be vacated by 10am on day of departure, and access is not before 4pm on day of arrival. These times are flexible depending on new arrivals.

This is a new development in Tavira, and surrounding work remains to be completed.

Coast/Beach
10 mins walk from the apartment there is a ferry which runs all year round to the Tavira Island (Ilha da Tavira). The Island boasts a superb enormous sandy beach backed by tufted dunes, a scattering of cafe bars and restaurants and excellent water sports. It can also be reached by a miniature railway from Pedras de’l Rei on the west side of Santa Luzia, a charming lagoon- fronted fishing village with several good restaurants and only 5 mins drive from Tavira.

Golf
Benmore Golf Course is within 10 mins drive. Quinta de Cima, Quinta de Ria are within 15 mins drive, and the new Jack Nicklaus signature course at Monte Del Rei and Castro Marim golf are within 30 mins drive. To the west the Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura complexes are within easy reach by the motorway A22, and are well signposted.

Travel
Tavira is situated 30Kms from Faro and 30km from the Spanish Border, approx 30 mins each way. Railway and bus stations are 5 mins from apartment

Faro 30km, Albufeira 60km, Vila Real de San Antonio 20km.

All town centre facilities are close by.

Booking notes
30% non refundable deposit is required to confirm booking with balance payable 8 weeks before the arrival date. Payment to be made by cheque or bank transfer. Please check cost and availability of flights before making a booking. We recommend that guests have adequate travel insurance including the risk of cancellation in their own policies. A security deposit of £100 or 150 euros is payable with final payment and will be refunded 2 weeks after departure subject to no breakages.
