The quality of the beaches of Armacao de Pera, a 10 minute walk away, have made Armacao a favourite holiday spot of the Portuguese. So enjoy promenading with families along the sea front on a warm summer's evening or dine out in one of the many fine restaurants. The town being famous for its fish landed daily on the beaches and regional dishes such as Piri Piri chicken.

Manicured gardens within grounds of approx 2 acres. Gardener attends twice a week. Swimming pool dimensions 10.5 x 6m. Depths 1.1 x 2.7m with ladder and steps. Pool heating an extra £100 per week. Pool attendant maintains pool once a week. Pool adjoins separate shower block with WC and sink. Recliners provided together with portable BBQ.
Coast/Beach
10 min walk to the Vale do Olival beach from the villa. This forms a part of the uninterrupted beach between Armacao and Gale, a 2 hour walk along sandy beaches bounded in part by a marshland wildlife nature reserve and bird sanctuary.
Golf
Championship courses, Salgados, Alto, Pinta and Gramacho within 10 - 20 min drives from villa.
Travel
The villa is just a 45 mins drive along the N22 from Faro airport using car hire or taxi. Car hire is recommended for convenience sake whilst at the villa, although numerous taxi services in Armacao can be used in preference to the 10 mins walk into Armacao.
Further details
Armacao is a very special summer town for the Portuguese from the north and Lisbon. With one of the Algarve's longest most glorious sandy beaches with many tiny fish restaurants it became one of the most popular summer destinations. Small boats still pull up each morning on 'Fisherman's beach' with the old town behind having many pavement cafes, shops and restaurants. In the new town there are numerous supermarkets, banks etc to cater for the tourist's needs.
Booking notes
25% deposit on booking, the balance to be paid within 8 weeks of arrival. Additional £100 refundable deposit with balance payment. This will be repaid at departure providing no damages or breakages have occurred.
