The accommodation is on two levels with both levels having its own private terrace. The kitchen has many amenities including a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge-freezer. The house also benefits from air conditioning and TV with cable and DVD/CD players. The property shares a large communal heated pool which has a large patio area round the pool with sunbeds. A pool side bar with drinks and snacks are available daily. Vila Castelo has a beach front position which is only a short walk away. Ferragudo village has a number of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops which are also only a short walk away. A water taxi is available during the summer months from the waterfront to take you across to Portimao where a variety of shops, clubs, bars, restaurants and entertainment is available.
The Algarve is a golfers paradise and its world renowned selection of golf courses are all within easy travelling distance from Vila Castelo.

| Bedrooms: | Bedroom 1 with double bed, own bathroom. Bedroom 2 with twim beds with ensuite. Both bedrooms have air conditioning but also shutters have been installed in order that the patio doors in the bedrooms can be open whilst still feeling secure. |
| Bathrooms: | Both bathroom rooms are beautifully furnished with showers, hand basins and wcs. The en-suite also has a bidet. |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and fridge-freezer. Visitors will have all that is needed for self-catering. |
| Living Rooms: | The open plan lounge dining room is fully equipped for comfort. There is a TV with cable and a DVD player with 'surround sound'. There is also a radio/CD player available. |

Coast/Beach
Angrinha beach is directly in front of Vila Castelo, ideal for quiet bathing by the castle which stands on the beach. Praia Grande beach is the largest beach in Ferragudo, located up the hill opposite Vila Castelo. There are three beach bars all looking across the marina and harbour entrance, ideal for lunch or an early evening meal.
Golf
Carvoeira golf is the closest course to Ferragudo, only a 5 minute drive away. Perina is one of the most famous championship courses in Europe and is only a 10 minute drive from Vila Castelo. The majority of the Algarve's golf courses are all within a 30 minute drive.
Travel
Faro is the nearest airport which is 45 minutes away from Ferragudo. Transport can be arranged or car hire is required.
Distances
Vila Castelo is only 10 minutes walk from the village square where you will find a bank, chemist, mini supermarket and post office. Carvoeiro which is a 10 minute drive from Vila Castelo is a bustling little town with plenty of small shops and restaurants. Portimao is the second largest town in the Algarve and has a large shopping area. There is also a new fish market which is well worth a visit and since 2003 the newly refurbished sardine restaurants on the sea front are well worth a try.
