The property sleeps 8 people, in 2 double bedrooms which have en-suite shower rooms and 2 twin bedrooms with a shared bathroom. All bedrooms have ample fitted wardrobes, dressing tables and mirrors. A comfortable spacious lounge with Sky TV, DVD and stereo system. A separate dining room and a fully equipped kitchen, including microwave, oven and hob, toaster, juicer, espresso coffee machine, dishwasher, fridge and many more extras, so if you wish to cook you can, but whilst visiting do take the time to visit the local restaurants and enjoy local cuisine and wine! There is also a utility room containing washing machine, freezer and iron and ironing board!
Outside is our fully enclosed gardens, patio areas, heated swimming pool, (with the option to be enclosed and fully lockable, to give parents peace of mind). There is a BBQ, ample sun loungers, tables and chairs for alfresco dining, where you can relax from breakfast till late evening.

The villa is cleaned and beds changed weekly. Towels are changed twice a week. Pool cleaned weekly. A small welcome pack of bread and butter, ham and cheese, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water will be available on your arrival. |
Notes on accommodation
The property is double-glazed throughout and in every room there are central heating radiators, heated from a gas boiler in the utility room in the winter months. All windows have mosquito screens. The villa is very child friendly and if requested the pool can be enclosed with lockable doors for parents peace of mind.

Outside
There are large front, side and rear gardens, with plenty of tables and chairs for alfresco dining, a private solar heated pool. BBQ with utensils. Ample sun beds are provided and a sandpit, with buckets and spades for the children. There is also a large cool box and beach umbrella.
Coast/Beach
The nearest accessible beaches are about a 5 minute drive. To the north is Monte Clerigo, a very wide sandy beach, and to the south is Arrifana (famous for its surfing) with its spectacular cliffs, small harbour and fishing vessels. Both beaches have lifeguards during the summer period and the villages have restaurants and bars. There are many other fantastic beaches eg. Amoreira, Carriagem and Bordeira slightly further away.
Golf
30 minutes drive away you will find Boavista and Palmares golf courses. Parque da Floresta is not much further.
Special interest holidays
This is a world class surfing area with plenty of beaches close by. 5 minutes drive is the beach of Arrifana, this is the home of one of Portugal's premier big-wave spots. When it's on, the point is a spectacular wave to surf or watch. Big wave chargers only. The beachbreak is suitable for surfers of all abilities and holds waves up to 4-6 ft.
Travel
Faro airport approx 105km, Lisbon airport approx 240km.
The nearest airport is Faro. It takes just over an hour by car, mainly along a motorway. Car hire really is essential and this can be arranged for you if required.
Distances
The seaside villages of Arrifana and Monte Clerigo are about 5 kms. It is 8 kms to the picturesque market town of Aljezur (known for its goose barnacle and sweet potato festival) with its castle, museums and old fashioned food market. It is 30 kms to the town of Monchique, famous for its spa, sausages, cured ham and its surrounding mountain range. It is also about 30 kms to the large town of Lagos with its marina, palm tree lined promenade, large selection of shops and restaurants.

We absolutely loved your Villa it was a really restful week (seems long ago now) weather was great location was superb its just perfect and tranquil which is what we wanted. The heated pool was the icing on the cake along with Monte Clerigo and Ameora which we fell in love with. We had a wonderful holiday, thank you very much. Best family holiday we've had.
