São Rafael beach resort is built on top of a cliff between 2 beautiful beaches: São Rafael and Arrifes. The distance from the apartment to São Rafael beach is 500m. Both beaches have restaurants, there you can find local dishes like fresh fish and good Portuguese wine.

Travel
Faro airport is 35 minutes drive. Easy driving from the airport to resort. Car hire recommended but not essential.
Transfers are cheaper and more confortable than taxi and are available from Faro international airport.

Albufeira - old town street (bars and discos) (5km).

Further details
Tracking facilities, more than 15km of tracks, in the cliffs arround São Rafael. All tracks are along the sea and have beautiful views. Cliffs are ideal for bird watching.
Other sports include parasailing, jetskiing, sailing, scuba diving, cave and coast sightseeing etc which are available in Albufeira´s marina, 1 km from São Rafael.
Nightlife: the best bars and discos, in Algarve, are located in Albufeira. You can find them within a 10km distance.
Restaurants: in a 10 minutes walking distance you have 3 beach restaurants, with sea views and excellent food. In the marina there is also a large selection of restaurants, but you may choose the centre of Albufeira or the restaurants from the nearby beaches.
Supermarkets: São Rafael beach resort has a minimarket, but if you prefer a larger one you have a supermarket in Albufeira´s main road and a hypermarket inside a mall in Guia.
