The apartment is in one of the nicest, and convenient parts of the town. It is an attractive large two-bedroom apartment, furnished to a high standard. There is a garage with the apartment, but a car is not absolutely essential. The apartment is set in a block of 25, and does have a shared pool. Near to beaches, restaurants, golf courses, supermarkets and town centre.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. Cot available at £15 per week. Long Winter lets negotiable.
Changeover day
May to September - Saturday change over.
October to April - any day change over, and would accept part week bookings or long weekends.
We do request that people vacate the property by 10.30am.

Suitable for all children....patio has secure gate leading to the pool area.
All rooms have double doors leading on to the patio.
Both bedrooms have TVs for the purpose of showing DVD films only.
We would request no smoking in the apartment, but there is plenty of space outside for this purpose.

Outside
Very large, sunny patio, facing the pool. Furnished with table and six chairs for outside living, four sunbeds, with covers, sun shades, bench seat and small tables, and numerous colourful plants. The view from the pool area is over the old town, and with the sea in the background.
Coast/Beach
There are numerous beaches within a 5 minute drive, or a 10 - 15 minutes walk. All are sandy and very rarely are they crowded. Other beaches on the West coast, about 30 minutes drive away are good for surfing etc.
Travel
Flying into Faro airport, which is about an hours drive from Lagos, taking the A22 motorway.
A car is not essential, but it would enable one to see more of the surrounding areas. Car hire can be arranged through us, and we also can arrange Airport transfers at very competiive prices.
Distances
Portimao, sardine centre of Europe - 20 minutes drive away.
Silves, with its castle and restaurants lying on the river - 30 minutes by car.
Sagres and Cape St. Vincent - the most westerly part of mainland Europe - 35 minutes by car.
Monchique mountains, beautiful and good for chicken piri-piri, about 40 minutes drive.
Water parks and Zoomarine - all about 25 minutes drive away.
Further details
From the apartment one can walk into the centre of the town of Lagos within 5 minutes down a pedestrian walkway where all the main banks are, and where there are plenty of restaurants and in the Summer there is always plenty of activity in the centre of Lagos. There is also a City Park just two minutes from the apartment, where they have constructed a childrens play area, and where there are places to sit and while away the time. Lagos also now has its own Municipal Sports Centre with plenty of activities going on, including heated swimming pools and different classes for fitness etc., all at very low costs.
