Quinta da Horta is situated in a quiet location just e few minutes walk from Sao Bras de Alportel. The mature gardens are filled with fragrant flowers, fruit trees and shrubs. The patio and large barbeque area are adjacent to the large salt water pool and there is also another patio area. There are several golf courses within 20 minutes drive and only 20 minutes to some of the best beaches in the Algarve. Loule market town is only 10 minutes drive away ‘a must see’ when in the Algarve. There is plenty for the kids too, with Aqualand only 15 minutes away.

A self contained unit with lounge, fully fitted kitchen and appliances.
There is a large double bedroom with 4 poster bed and an annexe with accommodation for a further adult (Single Bed). The second bedroom is fitted with 2 single beds. A welcome pack is provided for you on your arrival, at no charge to you.

 

Notes on accommodation
Both units are typical Algarvian farmhouses and therefore the walls are very substantial, which keeps the rooms cool in summer and retains heat in the cooler periods. Children and pets are welcome at Quinta da Horta. Should you require additional laundry service, this can be done for a very small fee.

Outside
The saltwater pool is 26x13 feet and 5 foot at the deepest end. There are two large patios with barbeque area and new barbecue fitted. The whole area is private and shared only by the 2 farmhouses on the plot. The average temperature of the water in summer is 30 degrees.

Coast/Beach
The Algarve has excellent beaches and there are several within 20 min drive.

Golf
There are 10 golf courses, all within 30 mins drive of Quinta da Horta and they are of the highest standard. The Algarve is famous for some of the very best Golf courses in the world.

Travel
Faro airport is only 20 mins drive away. Car hire, although not essential, is recommended, as there is so much to do and see in the Algarve. Car hire can be arranged for your arrival at Faro airport, with special rates for guests at Quinta da Horta. If you prefer, we can arrange for the car to be delivered to your accommodation, at no extra cost.

Distances
The nearest village, Sao Bras de Alportel is only 5 mins walk away and Loule market town is only 12 mins. drive away.

Further details
Sao Bras has 5 banks, 5 supermarkets and plenty of really fine and inexpensive restaurants and bars.

Booking notes
A 50% deposit is required when you book your accommodation and payment in full required within 90 days, unless your holiday is reserved at short notice. In which case, payment in full will be required at the time of booking. A refundable Deposit of £100 will be required in case of any breakages or damage, which should be included in the final payment.

My Wife and I now live in Portugal, which is the country we love. We live on the same site as our rental Villas, so that we can maintain them and also look after the gardens. We put lots of emphasis on the surroundings to ensure that our guests have a memorable holiday, in beautiful surroundings.

We chose this location as it is away from the usual Tourist areas, but very close to all the amenities of a small town.
