Changeover day
Saturdays are preferred although this is negotiable depending on existing bookings. Where changeover is on the same day we ask that guests depart by 10am and arrive no earlier than 3pm so that the apartment can be prepared.

Bedroom 2 has 2 twin beds.
Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed with double bed on bottom and twin on top.
Bedroom 2 and 3 share bath and a wardrobe with plenty of storage.
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom of master bedroom is fully tiled, with bath, shower, wc, bidet, and modern stainless steel sink.
Second bathroom is shared by bedrooms 2 and 3 and is also fully tiled with bath/shower, wc, bidet and sink.
Kitchen: Modern fully equipped eat-in kitchen with granite worktops, table and chairs for 4, hob/oven, microwave, toaster, fridge with freezer, washing machine, dishwasher. Door with access to balcony. Balcony has a table with 2 chairs.
Utility Room: Utility area has a iron, ironing board and a hairdryer for your convenience.
Living Rooms: A bright modern spacious open-concept combined living/dining room with walkout to balcony. Leather sofas (2), leather chair, large coffee table and TV with DVD player. Dining room area with large table and 6 chairs. Air conditioned.

Accessibility
The beach is reached by a number of steps and may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties.

Outside
The condominium has a shared outdoor area with stunning panoramic views of ocean. This outdoor area is the ideal place to unwind. Infinity pool has a shallow pool area for children.

Coast/Beach
This apartment is two minutes stroll from the wide, soft sandy beach at Foz do Arelho featured in Portugal magazine's top 10 beaches (Jan 2008) and as very recently shown in Channel 4's 'A Place In The Sun'. The beach offers restaurants, bars, cafes and the picturesque and colorful kiosks, which offer a variety of dining experiences. Also, the beach of Sao Martinho do Porto is at a mere 11km distance. The beautiful beach of Baleal is a short 13 km drive away.

Golf
Praia D'el Rey Beach and golf resort with its par 72 links style golf course is less than 30km away.
Golden Eagle, Rio Maior, is located 30 min or less from the apartment. There are numerous other courses in the area all within an easy driving distance.

Special interest holidays
Foz do Arelho is well known for surfing, body boarding, kitesurf, catamaran, canoe, windsurfing, or water-skiing. Schools for these sports based at the lagoon. (Name and number provided at your request). The area is also known for its fishing.

Travel
Lisbon Airport 81km (45 mins). Porto Airport 2.5 hours. Car hire is not essential, but to fully appreciate this area, it is recommended.

The village of Foz do Arelho is a 10 mins walk or short drive. The city Caldas da Rainha, known for its pottery and open air markets and many other shops and sites is 8km away.
The stunning historical medieval town of Obidos is 9km away.
Enjoy one of its cultural festivals, or visit 17th century churches.

The village of Foz do Arelho is a mere 10 mins walk/short drive away where you will find a post office, bank, doctor, baker, butcher plus other bars and restaurants. The city of Caldas da Rainha is known for its pottery and open air markets plus a daily fresh fish market and many other shops and sites is a short 10 min drive away. The stunning historical medieval town of Obidos is a mere 9 km away. Enjoy one of its cultural festivals, visit 17th century churches or walk the castle ramparts. Obidos hosts many cultural events during the year. Not to be missed are the chocolate festival in February. Easter is celebrated in style in Obidos with eight days of events including a torchlight procession within the spectacular medieval castle or if you prefer medieval week which happens in July. This traditional town recreates the past at a medieval market with authentic displays and costumes and of a time long gone.

was just fine; not too warm because of the wind - we really enjoyed ourselves. Water in the sea was quite cold, but it wasn't a problem thanks to the pool. Otherwise the beach was
