Casa Anna Cottage is a lovely south facing cottage with a private pool (shared with the owners) in mature gardens, near the village of Santa Barbara de Nexe. Recently completely refurbished throughout, the cottage has a living/dining area with a wood burning fire for winter lets and a modern kitchen. All patio doors and windows have fly screens. Maid service is once per week. Pool/beach towels and sun umbrellas are provided and there are sunloungers around the pool and on the cottage terrace. There is also an excellent welcome pack of food and drinks provided for your arrival, and you can pick your own lemons and oranges in season.

Notes on accommodation
Please note there is no smoking allowed in the cottage.
Outside
Private Pool, regularly maintained, 10 x 4 metres with gradient from 1m to 2.5m. There is a roof terrace above the owner's villa for private sunbathing with sea and hill views. Sun loungers and parasols. There is a covered area next to the pool with a refrigerator which you are welcome to use. There is also a dart board and darts. Mature walled garden with orange, lemon and grapefruit trees.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are approximately 20 minutes drive away. Faro beach can be busy in the summer but stretches for miles.
Golf
20 minutes drive to the golf courses at Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
Travel
15 to 20 minutes drive from Faro Airport.
Car hire is essential.
Distances
The nearest village, Santa Barbara, is approximately 2 miles away. The market town of Loule is approximately 15 minutes drive. The Sunday market in Estoi, 3 miles away, is worth a visit.
Further details
Shops, a supermarket, restaurants, bars, a bank and Post Office, etc are available in and around Santa Barbara. There is a very large supermarket and several smaller ones in Loule. An excellent welcome pack is provided on arrival with everything you should need for your first day and more.
