Accessibility
There are two small steps to the front of the property. The ground floor (with two en-suite bedrooms) is on one level. Access to the courtyard is via one small step downwards.

Outside
The secluded private courtyard has shady veranda and pergola opening on to sunbathing area and splash pool.

Coast/Beach
Blue Flag beaches abound. The nearest is at Manta Rota which is a 5 minute drive.

Golf
Four 18-hole golf courses within 15 minutes at Benamor, Quinta da Cima, Quinta do Rei and Castro Marim. A fifth course, the new Jack Nicklaus signature course at Monte Rei is just 5 minutes away.

Special interest holidays
Horseriding is also avaialble locally.

Travel
Faro airport is approximately 40 minutes drive.
Car hire is not essential as Casa Ericalena is very close to the centre of the town which is well provided with taxis (5 minute walk to taxi rank) and the railway station is a 10 minutes walk.

Distances
5 minutes stroll to town centre.
15 minutes drive to Tavira.
15 minutes drive to Vila Real do Santo Antonio (on border with Spain).
90 minutes drive to Seville.

There are 2 banks in the town, both accept UK cards in their cash machines.
Public telephones are plentiful and are very cheap, particularly at off-peak times.
