This is a luxury holiday combining elegance and comfort set in its own charming 6 hectare gardens and grounds, citrus orchard, olive grove and its own hillside walks. The Quinta da Raposeira commands panoramic views of the Arrabida Hills.

Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds. For longer/winter lets - prices negotiable.
Changeover day
Changeover day is Saturday. Property available from 3pm (no later than 7pm) on first day of rental and should be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

| Bathrooms: | Bedrooms 1 and 2 (twins) share bathroom with shower cubicle, 2 basins. WC separate. Bedrooms 3 and 4 (twins) share bathroom with shower over bath, 2 basins. 1 single child's bedroom. Additional shower room. Additional cloakroom downstairs. |
| Kitchen: | 2 fridges, dishwasher, microwave, double gas stove (remember there is a cook!) and double sinks. Large pantry, again with double sinks. |
| Utility Room: | Laundry room with ironing equipment, washing machine, tumble dryer. Dining table/chairs for staff. |
| Living Rooms: | Large sitting room with fireplace and purpose built bar. Elegantly furnished including Portuguese provincial furniture. Dining room debouching onto outdoor dining room. Study with 2 desks, phone and fax. Little music room with upright piano. |
| Other: | There is also a small single bedroom available near the kitchen/laundry area which would only be suitable for a member of staff. This room has to share a shower with the housekeeper. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are included. Linen changed weekly and/or as necessary. A resident (in staff cottage) cook is available 6 days a week with an additional maid 5 mornings. The cook's husband looks after the gardens and pool. |
Notes on accommodation
House available all year round and offers central heating and log fires (on request at extra charge - 220 euros per wk). The cook will prepare 3 meals a day for you if you wish and do the food shopping if given money in advance. Complimentary first night's dinner. The extensive grounds provide you with the opportunity to walk in 6 hectares of gardens and orchards (fruit available to pick in season). 4 telephones downstairs, 2 upstairs. There is a very good selection of books, CDs, DVDs and games in the house.

Private heated pool (heating costs payable locally - 200 euros first week, 180 euros thereafter) 12m x 5m, naturally screened by shrubs, with own changing room and shower. Immediately outside house is an outdoor dining area under pergola with BBQ. Sunloungers for 8 people and upright pool chairs and table also under vine clad pergola.
Coast/Beach
It is a 5 mile (20 minute) drive to beaches and resorts between Sesimbra and Setubal.
Golf
Nearest golf course is a 15 minute drive.
Travel
Fly to Lisbon airport. Property is less than an hour's drive from the airport - hire car is essential.
Distances
The village of Azeitao is 1km north of the villa and has a supermarket and general shopping.
Further details
The owner's English bilingual agent, who lives locally, will be available to give any help or advice if requested. Local wineries, historic villages, palaces and gardens, as well as poussadas for local atmosphere.
