Situated on the edge of the village amongst rolling country side. Within easy reach of the castle towns of Estremoz, Elvas, Monforte and Alter do Chão. A 2 hour drive from Lisbon. Airport 3.5 hours drive from Faro airport. Horse riding available for beginners and experienced ridings at all times, carriage driving also available with picnics.

suitable for children who like horse riding, carriage driving, and swimming.

There are steps up and down to the cottage.
Outside
The swimming-pool is used only by the owner. It has sun beds and a porch for shade. The pool is 4.5x9m and quite private being enclosed by a wall.
Special interest holidays
There is horse riding and carriage driving. I am a riding
instructor and compete in driving at international level.
It is good walking country. Estremoz is a beautiful old town set in open country. Within short drives the remains of Roman settlements and well preserved Roman bridges can be seen.
Travel
Lisbon airport 1 hour 45 mins by car. Faro airport 3.5 hours.
Car is essential. Spain is 60km away.
Distances
Estremoz is 12km away on a quiet road.
Further details
On the edge of the village where there are cafés and bars which will provide food if previously requested. Estremoz is 10 minutes away with good quality restaurants and shops.
Within an hour's drive ancient medieval towns like Évora, Elvas, Marvão, Castelo de Vide and Portalegre can be visited. As can the National Stud of Lusitanians at Alter do Chão. Travelling around is easy with very good roads and little traffic.
