This is a traditional detached 'village house' with sea views from all floors. The villa underwent extensive refurbishment during the spring of 2008 with a new kitchen, bathrooms, floors etc. Although it is in a quiet location in the heart of Vale do Lobo it is ideally situated just a short walk from the beach and Vale Do Lobo's central Praca. Four bedrooms sleep 8 persons (n.b one bunk bedroom). Accommodation is on two floors with a large roof terrace on the third floor. The villa has air-conditioning. Outside the front there is a terrace with a large dining table and a garden area and BBQ. Large wall mounted flat screen satellite TV, DVD and audio system. Included in the rental is membership of Barrington's Club (free use of outdoor and indoor pool, gym etc and discounted tennis and golf).

Suitable for children - the villa is safely set away from one way road. Please note NO under 21 year old groups.

Large roof terrace on the third floor with table, chairs and loungers. Outside, at the front, there is another terrace area with dining table, sunshades and a garden area with large brick BBQ.
Coast/Beach
4 minutes walk down track to beach. 5 minutes walk to main Praca area (beach/restaurant/bars/pools).
Golf
2 golf courses at Vale do Lobo. Numerous surrounding golf courses (discounted green fees arranged through Barringtons Club).
Travel
20 minutes to Faro airport. Car hire, if necessary, can be arranged at Vale do Lobo.
Further details
Vale do Lobo is probably Algarve's best resort with superb facilities and over 25 sports on offer including 2 golf courses, a tennis centre and the Barrington's Club. On the sea front the Praca has several bars and restaurants, and there are wide, long sandy beaches. Staying in our villa offers free membership of the Barrington's Club (swimming pools, gym, squash courts etc and discounted tennis and golf (up to 55% off). Our villa is also a Vale do Lobo Club member (entitled to discounted Welcome cards for use in vale do Lobo complex). Within Vale do Lobo there are boutiques and a supermarket which is open 7 days a week.

About the owner
I am married with six children and live in Dorset. As we both work we try and get out to our villa as much as possible to unwind and enjoy.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
Our family bought the property in the 1980s and chose it because of its great location. Vale do Lobo was the first development on the Algarve and has remained the premier resort along the coast.
Unique benefits of the property
Our villa is perfectly situated close to the beach and central facilities (Praca) with its pools/restaurants/bars and yet it is in a quiet and tranquil position overlooking the sea.
The villa has recently been completely refurbished and offers all the conveniences and comforts to enjoy the lovely area around. We have tried to incorporate as much as possible in the villa both for families and groups of friends. Unlike most surrounding villas ours is detached and has a lovely patio and dining area. This is set back from the one way road and is safe for children. Except in winter we tend to eat outside all the time. A drink on the roof terrace watching the sun set is always a special time.
