‘Casa Maria’ is a 3 bedroom fully air conditioned villa all on one level. It is situated on the residential estate of Quinta dos Alamos which has lovely cobbled streets, a park and a small children’s play area. Guia is famous for its chicken piri piri restaurants and is about 5-10 mins walk away. It also has a daily market, supermarkets, cafes, a bank, pharmacy and some small shops. For larger shops there is the Algarve Shopping centre which is 5 minutes drive and has a bowling alley, cinemas and larger shops. Albufeira with its old town, nightlife and new marina is a 10 mins drive. There are some beautiful beaches all within 5-10 mins by car. Salgados golf course is 5 mins away by car. Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds for up to 6 people. An additional child can be accommodated on a z-bed for £75 per week. Full block week only bookings during main season. Flexible stays available during low season.
Air-conditioning/heating is included in the above rates.
Pool heating £125 includes pre-heating for your arrival.
Discounts for long winter lets between November and March please call or email for details.
Changeover day
Saturday, but can be flexible out of season if possible.
Villa must be vacated by 10am on departure day and will not generally be available until 2pm on arrival day. If this causes you problems please let me know.

| Living Rooms: | Spacious lounge/dining room with two sets of patio doors one leading out to the pool and the other onto a small terrace. There is Satellite TV (limited channels), DVD and CD player. Air-conditioning/heating and woodburning stove. |
| Other: | There is a safe and alarm system. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and bed linen are provided and are changed weekly. Please bring your own pool/beach towels. There is a regular maid service. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa is suitable for children. Bedrooms 1 and 2 both have ample space for a z-bed for additional children or for cots.
Sorry no pets allowed.
Smoking is not permitted inside the villa but ashtrays are provided should you wish to smoke outside.

Accessibility
The villa is all on one level and there is only 1 step from the outiside terraces down to the garden and pool area.
Outside
Casa Maria is set in a very large garden with a 10m x 5m swimming pool which is cleaned with salt and is therefore nicer to swim in (it can also be heated at a supplement). There are 6 good quality sun loungers, umbrellas and table and chairs. Outside the kitchen is a sun/dining terrace that has a brick barbeque. To the front of the property there is ample parking for 3 or more cars. The garage is not included in the rental.
Coast/Beach
There are numerous beaches and coves within a 5 -10 minute drive of the villa. We prefer Gale and Salgados which are both about 5 minutes away by car.
Golf
Being situated in the central Algarve there are many golf courses within a 20 minute drive. Salgados is the closest and is about 5 minutes drive away. Please contact me if you need any web addresses of the golf courses and if you have a specific course in mind I can let you know exactly how far away it is.
Travel
Faro airport is the closest and is about 30-40 minutes drive. We recommend a car but it's not essential.
Distances
There are several theme and water parks within 5-15 minutes drive. Zoomarine is on the outskirts of Guia and is only 5 minutes away by car. At Zoomarine it is possible to swim with the dolphins, please contact me if you would like more details.
Further details
The villa is looked after by a local English speaking management agent and an information folder is provided at the house which contains emergency out of hours contact numbers and details of places of interest and restaurants, etc.
Booking notes
25% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking. Balance due 10 weeks before departure.
£200 refundable breakage deposit.
