Casa Vida Nova, a newly built villa nestling in the foothills of Serra de Caldeirao, south facing with views across the valley towards Salir. The guest suite has its own entrance and guests are welcome to use our lounge. The garden area in front of the guest suite has its own patio with sunloungers, parasol, table & chairs also a Hot Spring Spa Tub plus a gazebo for al fresco dining and a BBQ area. The village of Salir is approximately 15 minutes walk away where there is an Information Office, supermarket, cafes, restaurants, bank, post office.

Notes on prices
Discounts for long lets can be negotiated.
Starting in September have a 3 night weekend break for the price of 2 nights or stay for longer and have every third night free. For those who want to come walking note GR23 is a pleasant 2 day walk in the lovely Eastern Algarve.

Twin beds or super, kingsize bed if requested, wardrobe, dressing table and 2 easy chairs.
The en suite bathroom has a corner shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin unit with cupboards and including a hairdryer. An iron is available on request. Bedlinen and towels changed midweek. Towels for the spa included.

Notes on accommodation
The guest suite has air conditioning (hot & cold) and the bathroom is also heated. All windows have flyscreens and shutters.
Sorry no pets as the owners have a dog. This is a
No Smoking property.
Coast/Beach
Various beaches, east, west and central are within easy reach by car.
Golf
Salir is centrally located with a good road systems to numerous golf courses, the Vale de Lobo golf courses are 40 minutes away by car within an hour's drive there are more golf courses than we can mention here.
Special interest holidays
Terry is a qualified walks leader and is quite happy to guide guests on short and long walks. We are also ideally situated on GR13, the Algarve Way, and GR23. Salir is on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty benefitting birdwatching, bikers, painters, photographers, rural arts & craft and history.
Travel
Faro airport is 40 minutes drive away, car hire is recommended but not essential. Terry will provide airport meet and greet and transfer if you are unable or do not like driving in a foreign country we can by arrangement provide tours by car to suit individual interests at extra cost.
Distances
Salir is a short drive or 15 minutes walk away.
Loule, a large provincial town with its markets and
cobbled streets is 30 minutes drive.
Faro the capital of the Algarve with its many shops and shopping centres, marina and ancient walled city is 50 minutes. To the west we have Silves the old Moorish capital 30 minutes drive, Monchique famous for its spa water and restaurants and stunning countryside is 1 hour 30 minutes and further on all the west coast, the beaches and Cape St. Vincent.
