A pretty ground floor apartment in a peaceful location on the luxury resort of Dunas Douradas. The two bedroom accommodation is attractively furnished with a large living area that opens onto a well equipped patio with a lovely hedged garden. It is ideal for both couples and families. The apartment is situated close to the staffed reception of Dunas Douradas. The complex has a large roman styled pool, tennis courts, restaurant and pool bar. There are good supermarkets wthin a short drive . Maria's beach and Julias beach with restaurants and bars are 10mins walk. Vale do Lobo beach and its restaurants and night-time entertainment is only 5 mins drive away. Quinta do Lago plazza with its designer shops is 5 mins the other direction. There are many top class golf courses within easy reach. To swim with dolphins at Zoomarine is approx 1 hour away by car.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible, to allow you to get the best deal from a budget airline. Check in is officially 4pm and check out is 10am, although you are welcome to go in as soon as the apartment is available.

Accessibility
Ground floor apartment without steps inside. Standard doors to entrance and within, large patio doors accessible from rear (over small ridge).
Outside
Established high quality resort with beautiful communal gardens. Large roman styled pool and separate small children’s' pool with life-guard. Two tennis courts with coaching availability, racquets and balls can be rented from reception. Apartment has a patio and a hedged garden with sun loungers, barbeque and patio furniture.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is a 2 mins drive or a pleasant 10 mins walk to the nearest beach, there are restaurants and bars on the beach.
Golf
The Algarve is world renowned for its many high standard golf courses. Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago, and San Lorenzo courses are all within 15 mins drive. Vilamoura and its courses are approx 25 mins away by car. Golf can be booked through reception who have a list of courses with potential discounts.
Travel
A car is recommended although not essential. Dunas Douradas is 20 mins away from Faro airport.
Distances
The pleasant town of Almancil is 5 mins away by car. Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago are both about 5 mins drive away.
Further details
There is a small mini-market at Dunas Douradas that is open in the mornings, larger supermarkets are in Almancil and Vale do Lobo. Quinta shopping has many designer shops and restaurants. Internet access available within reception area. Medical facilities provided in Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago.
