Changeover day
Changeover any day. Check in can be done already in the morning (if the room is available you can move directly in). Check out until 11am. You can still stay at Casa da Calma during the departure day if your flight is in the evening.

Casa da Calma (Sleeps up to 22, 8 Rooms)

Our family room in the main farmhouse with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with an interconnecting door-ideal for families up to 5 persons. 7 double rooms in the main farmhouse with en-suite bathrooms (shower and/or bath, bidet). Private terraces. Twin beds or double beds available. 1 deluxe suite with totally private atmosphere. 1 living room (sofa-bed) and 1 separate bedroom(double bed), mini bar, a huge (40m2). Covered terrace and private garden/parking.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms are equipped with satellite TV, heating, air conditioning, hairdryer, books, bathing robes and pool and beach towels. Most of the rooms have the possibility for an extra bed or baby cot. On arrival, you are geeted with a welcome pack in your room. Dogs welcome.

Outside
Our huge outdoor (11x5) swimming pool (shared) is heated from October till May. The sauna is next to the pool. The sunny terrace is equipped with sunbeds, pool towels, sun umbrellas, and tables/chairs. You will find several sitting places in the garden. The own orange-grove is integrated in the marvelous garden.

Coast/Beach
To choose one of the fabulist sandy beaches in our region is not easy. You´ll find huge and endless beaches on the Islands/Ria Formosa in the East-Algarve. The famous ‘Praia do Barril’ the only beach on one Island you can walk to, is reachable in 15 min drive. The other Islands you can reach via Tavira 15 min drive, Fuzeta 8 min drive or Olhão Islands 10 min drive. We are happy to recommend the nearest beaches. The unique long sandy beaches near Spain-border you reach in within 30 min drive.

Golf
Our newest and next golf courses are by Tavira, Golf course Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Cima, Quinta do Vale, Castro Marim and the newest and best Course Vale do Rei are situated in 20 min drive from Casa da Calma. As well as the nices golf courses behind the Spanish boarder. Only a drive of 35 min.We arrange the tee off time and reduced green fee prices for our guests. Our house Golf pro helps you by improving your game or you can take a beginner’s course. Please ask for further information. Golf groups are welcome.

Special interest holidays
If you have a group up to 16 persons, you can arrange with us a special agreement for your stay. Painting-groups, workshops or business inventive groups are welcome.

Travel
The next airport is Faro (27km). You also can fly via Lisbon (300km) or Seville (180km). We do offer transfer (on request-and payable). Rent a car is recommended. We do help by finding the right car hire.

Distances
The next Village is Moncarapacho (4km), Tavira (13km) and Olhão (10km). Faro is only 27km far away. You can reach everything in the Algarve in a short distance-drive. The natural Resort ‘Ria Formosa’ is next to Olhão, Spain is only 30 mins drive away.

Further details
In Moncarapacho our next village, you will find 3 very good restaurants, 2 banks, a post office, supermarkets and a good choice of little shops. To the shopping Center Faro 30 min. drive - there you find a great choice of international shops, restaurants and cinemas (films all in original English).

Booking notes
Bookings are done by email or fax. A deposit is required of 30% for guarantee, done by credit card or bank transfer in advance. The payment of balance is done by departure.
