This well equipped, fully air-conditioned/heated apartment in the Quinta da Gomeira development was completed in Spring 2005 to a very high specification. There are two bedrooms each with twin beds. One bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room. The open plan lounge has a double bed settee which would be ideal for children. The apartment boasts one of the very best positions on the South edge of the complex, overlooking a toddlers’ play area, with views towards the sea and is fully equipped for a long or short stay. All windows are double glazed and equipped with fly screens and outdoor blinds. Ideally situated in the picturesque fishing village of Cabanas, it is a short stroll from the centre with its numerous café-bars and restaurants serving delicious local fish and other dishes at affordable prices. The local beach has 3km of wide golden sands and is reached via a delightful 2 minute ferry-boat ride across the lagoon.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Discounts are negotiable for lettings longer than 2 weeks.
Changeover day
This is flexible. If the apartment is to be vacated on the day of your arrival, then you will not be able to use it until 3pm, to allow for cleaning. Similarly, if new visitors are coming on the day of your departure, we would ask you to vacate by 10am.

The fully equipped kitchen includes Ariston washing machine, electric cooker, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven, iron and ironing board, coffee maker, orange juicer, toaster and electric kettle. There is also a table with four dining chairs. |
| Living Rooms: |
The comfortable modern air-conditioned lounge has 2 sofas, one being a double sofa-bed, lamps, bean-bag and coffee table, DVD and TV(UK satellite) with a selection of CD’s and DVD’s. The large French windows face south giving the room a very sunny aspect. |

Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
Fresh bed linen and bathroom towels are provided every 7 days and the apartment is cleaned once a week. Our British agent is on call to deal with any problems that may arise. Guests are asked to please provide own towels for the pool and beach. |
Notes on accommodation
The air-conditioning also doubles as heating or fan and can be set to a specific temperature. The apartment is particularly suitable for young children as it overlooks the play area. 2 Meg broadband wireless internet access is freely available for any clients wishing to bring their own laptop.

Accessibility
The apartment is accessed via three wide flights of interior stairs, with a handrail on one side.
Outside
There is a shared swimming pool within sight of the balcony, and a choice of three more similar pools. Parking is available outside the front door. Secure hallway with telephone entry point leads via stairs to the ground floor hall and stairway. There is some continuing building work in the area and the prices have been kept low to take this into account. A feature of this apartment is the use of a small rowing boat (for 2 people) on the lagoon. It must be stressed that this is entirely at the client's own risk, and that safety equipment (eg bouyancy aids) cannot be provided, but should be brought by the client if required.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is a short 5 minute stroll from the waterfront where a range of small boats offer a 2 minute boat ride to the long and unspoilt Cabanas Beach. The return trip costs about 1 euro per person and run throughout the day in season. The beach has its own cafe bar, changing facilities and toilets. Parasol, sunbed, jet-ski and paddle boat hire are all available in season.
Golf
There are six 18 hole golf courses nearby with one, Benamor, within five minutes’ drive. Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima are about 10 minutes’ drive away, and Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale 20 minutes. For a very special round, 12 minutes’ drive away there is the new Monte Rei Golf Club. The first of two Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses. This par 72 Championship course measuring 6567m from the Tournament tees can claim to be the best in the Algarve (with prices to match!). Within 45 minutes drive of the apartment there are 14 other championship courses.
Travel
Faro airport is 35 mins drive. Cabanas is an ideal base for exploring the Algarve having regular train and bus services close by. Spain is a short train & ferry ride away, or 30 minutes by car.
Distances
The nearest town is beautiful and historic Tavira which is about 5km away and can be easily reached by bus, train or taxi. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for visiting nature reserves, castles, bustling markets, quiet fishing villages or busier retail areas.

Booking notes
Changeover dates are flexible. For stays longer than two weeks prices can be negotiated. The deposit is 20% per holiday with the balance due 8 weeks prior to departure. All electricity and gas included.
