Yes, it does still exist! From both the front terrace and the roof terrace, you have views straight out over the lagoon and to the sea beyond. This cottage has a front, lower terrace, looking out over the lagoon to the sea. It also has a large roof terrace with even better views to the sea. The roof terrace has built in benches and table. There are reclining chairs for four people. The foreshore is on your doorstep, where the boats swing on their anchors, the locals dig for bait and clams, and the wading birds come and go all to the rhythm of the ebb and flow of the tide. With a great sea food restaurant just a minute's walk away and the fresh sea air in your lungs, you just won't want to go home. The lagoon shore is literally a stones throw away. The nearest access to the long, white sand beaches is about 10 - 20 minutes away at Fuzeta and Barrill.

Changeover day

Nearest airport is Faro, about 35 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended but not essential - you could survive on foot, with hired bicycles and public transport.

Luazinha has a great local restaurant specialising in sea food just a coulpe of minutes walk along the shore.
Booking notes
For bookings more than 2 months in advance, a 30% non-refundable deposit is payable on booking with the balance of 70% due 2 months before arrival. For booking less than 2 months in advance, full payment is required at the time of booking. Payment can be made in Sterling or Euros.

You dream of places like this, thinking they don’t exist. Paradise is what it is, even the pillows, best in Portugal. The little restaurant is so good with friendly staff, watching the water, birds and local people collecting clams is so relaxing, wonder if they know how lucky they are. The terrace a place to relax with a glass of wine watching the world go by is to be recommended. Thank you..
