Located in the centre of Carvoeiro, the apartment is ideal for all your holiday needs. It is part of the Monte Dourado complex, opened in 1990 which has swimming pools and tennis courts. This private apartment is well situated with easy access and is on the flat (beach level) with no steep hills to climb or flights of steps to negotiate. This spacious air-conditioned first floor apartment is comfortably furnished and equipped to a high standard. Behind the apartments there is an extensive sun terrace with pools for the use of the apartments only and the beach of Carvoeiro is an easy 3 minute stroll approx. 250m away. Apartment dos Santos is managed by the owners who who will supply you with driving directions from the airport or arrange a transfer to meet your flight ensuring a smooth transition to your holiday accommodation. There are 2 tennis courts (payable at reception) The bedrooms and lounge give access onto the large terrace which overlooks the village streets.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Minimum stay 1 week. Please contact the owner for special monthly rates in the winter period. Electricity is not included in the winter months and is payable locally depending on consumption. Air conditioning is available at a charge of £50 per week.
Changeover day
We prefer a Saturday changeover day during the peak season.

| Kitchen: | Kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and coffee machine. |
| Utility Room: | There is an iron, ironing board, and washing line. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge has a settee and 2 armchairs, a dining table and 4 chairs. It gives access onto the large terrace via sliding glass doors. There is an air-con unit, TV, Sky Digibox, DVD player, music centre and a selection of books. |
| Other: | Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and give access onto the terrace via sliding glass doors. The master bedroom has a safe in the wardrobe. The key is obtainable for a small fee from the reception at Monte Dourado. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Linen is changed once a week, towels twice. Maid service is once per week. Beach towels are not provided. |

Outside
The Apartment terrace is equipped with chairs and table for outdoor living. The shared pool is for the use of the apartments only and has a lockable gate. The pool is very large with a kids pool and surrounded by a large terrace equipped with sunbeds. There is a shower and wc available next to the pool.
Coast/Beach
Praia do Carvoeiro is the nearest beach at 250m distance. This is about 3 minutes walk.
Golf
The nearest Golf Course is the 9-hole par 3 Vale de Milho at 2 kms distance. The famous and more demanding 18-hole Pinta and Gramacho courses are approx 4kms away along with the David Leadbetter Golf Academy where you can take lessons.
The Algarve has many golf courses most of which of within 30-45 mins drive from Carvoeiro.
Travel
Faro is the nearest airport and is situated at 45 minutes drive from the apartment. Car hire is not essential and airport transfers can be arranged on request and paid for locally. Car hire is available from Faro airport or in Carvoeiro itself.
Further details
Carvoeiro has many restaurants offering every kind of cuisine both national and international. Freshly grilled fish, traditional Portuguese dishes such as cataplana (a fish stew cooked in a special copper dish), chicken piri piri, grilled pork and great steaks can be found, along with restaurants specialising in Thai, Italian, Indian, Chinese and Pizzas. There are cafes, themed bars, and a disco/night club at the beach.
For shopping there are small supermarkets situated in the village and a large supermarket, Intermarche, about 1.5km out of the village.
There are banks, ATMs, and a Post Office.
Booking notes
25% deposit to confirm a booking, balance due 8 weeks before arrival date. A security deposit of £100 against damages will be collected on arrival and refunded at the end of the holiday. Air-conditioning is available at a charge of £50 per week.
