Quinta Luzia is a typical traditional Algarvian farmhouse that has been recently restored to the highest of standards. The extensive terraces boast a 180 degree sea view from Faro to the Ria Formosa Natural Park. It is situated 1km from the village of Pechao, a quaint village with minimarket, shops, bank, pharmacy and several restaurants and bars. The area retains the true character of Portugal, away from the busier tourist areas yet still only 15 mins drive from Faro airport and 5mins drive from the sea.

Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. We are happy to accept payment of the equivalent amount in Euros. Payment made by cheque or direct bank transfer, 25% deposit at the time of booking.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover days. Arrival after 3pm and departure before 10am (unless no other booking preceeding or following in which case we allow guests to arrive and leave as suits them).

Outside
Private pool 10m x 5m. Large private sun baked terraces with loungers. Shady spots including pergola with dining table and lighting for evening dining. All have spectacular views to sea and islands with lighthouse and nowhere is overlooked! BBQ area close to kitchen. Outside speakers and lights. Gardens over an acre. Much off road parking that is shared with a small cottage next door.
Coast/Beach
3km to beautiful sandy beatches. 3kms to sea front at Olhao, a working Portuguese fishing town with daily fish and fruit markets and more extensive markets on Saturdays. From the pier at Olhao water taxis, or a small passenger ferry, can be taken to the idilic islands of Armona and Farol both of which have deserted beaches, quaint restaurants and bars.
Golf
The farmhouse is ideally placed for golfers as there are championship golf courses to both the east and to the west. We are able to offer special reduced rates on most of the courses in the area, including the best, through our local contacts, just ask for more details!
Travel
15 mins drive from Faro airport. Car hire recommended but local taxi service easily arranged and local buses to Olhao and Pechao village from 400 yards away.
Distances
Easy walking distance to 2 excelent restaurants serving fresh fish and traditional Portugues specialities. The village centre is only 1km away where you will find cafes, bars, minimarket, bank with cash point, pharmacy etc. 2.5kms to centre of Olhao. About 7kms to centre of Faro. Faro is a facinating city with historical old centre and modern shopping mals. 'Faro Shopping' is a large complex with fashionable boutiques, cinemas and cafes. Estoi is about 4kms away with Palace and Roman Ruins.
Further details
The buisiet tourist resorts are about 30 mins drive away. Here you will find water parks, swimming with dolphins, casinos and other tourist attractions.

Confirm booking dates by phone or e-mail. Once confirmed booking forms will be sent and the reservation held for 1 week whilest awaiting the deposit by post. 25 percent deposit at time of booking with the balance due 12 weeks before holiday.
