Situated close to one of 3 shared heated 25m pools this house is tastefully furnished and a short walk from the first tee, driving range and clubhouse. The resort also has tennis courts, a children’s play area and a 5* Marriott Hotel with health spa. Praia del Rey beach is stunning and great for sunbathing and walks. Nearby beautiful Obidos Lagoon is ideal for water sports and Baleal for surfing. Visit Lisbon and the medieval town of Obidos or take a boat trip to the Berlenga Islands, a National Nature Reserve. A great holiday for adults or families in the unspoilt Silver Coast region of Portugal.

Changeover day
Changeover day may be flexible but during high season Saturday is preferred. Arrival usually after 4pm and departure before 10am.

Outside
Two sets of French doors lead from the lounge to the covered downstairs terrace which is equipped with a large table and chairs as well as a BBQ. The rooftop terrace has sunloungers and a further table and chairs and is an ideal area for extra privacy.
Attractive landscaped gardens surround the nearby pool and the Vila dos Principes development. You have the choice of 3 large pools; all are within a short distance of the house, the house overlooks one of the pools and an adjacent children's pool/Jacuzzi.. All pools are heated from mid May to mid September and one is heated from Easter to end of Ocober. The swimming pools have sunloungers and umbrellas.
A beach umbrella and beach chairs are available at the property in addition to boogie/body boards.
The cobbled streets, landscaped gardens and access via security controlled gates create a beautiful and private community at 'Vila dos Principes'
Coast/Beach
Praia del Rey beach is super - miles of sand and surf. However, there is a strong current so it is suited for walks and sunbathing not swimming. Obidos Lagoon and Baleal, additional sandy beaches, are about a 10 minute drive away. Baleal has surf schools for lessons and equipment hire.
Golf
The Praia del Rey golf course is one of the best in Europe, recently voted European Golf Resort of the Year. The course is challenging and beautiful with super views along the Atlantic coast. A golf handicap certificate is required. The house is a short walk from the first tee, driving range and clubhouse - very convenient!
