Located in central Portugal in very rural surroundings with stunning views. This beautiful restored farmhouse set in its own 1.5 hectares of land with numerous olive trees, grapevines and other fruits, offers a great deal of privacy and tranquility. The house has 2 floors, each completely self contained with their own entrance, allowing our guests complete privacy. The ground floor occupied by the owners with the 1st floor available for holiday let. Pampilhal village has 2 small mini-markets and 2 cafe/bars within walking distance. Fresh bread can be obtained daily from the local bakers van and there is a fresh fish van on Fridays. A good choice of restaurants, cafes, shops etc can easily be reached by car in a few minutes.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. However, we prefer guests to leave by 12 noon on departure day but will do whatever possible to accommodate guests with late flights etc.

A complimentary welcome pack containing basic essentials will be available on your arrival. Guests are also welcome to make use of oranges/lemons etc when available.

Ample parking. Guests are welcome to make use of the extensive grounds. Private bathing pool with large sunbathing area. 2 private terraces ideal for sunbathing, dining, BBQ. Outdoor furniture etc. Bicycles available for hire at a small fee.
Coast/Beach
River beach and fishing 20 mins drive. Natural river pool and large water park 30 mins drive. Beach of Figueira Do Foz 50 mins drive.
Travel
Lisbon airport is approx 1 hour 45 mins drive to the house. Porto airport is approx 2 hour drive to the house. Nearest ferry ports are Santander and Bilbao which are both approx 8 hours drive. Car hire is strongly recommended.

Distance to nearest village 5 mins walk. Distance to nearest town 3 miles. Large supermarket 10 miles.
Further details
Amongst plenty of places to explore there is the beautiful town of Tomar and the historic university city of Coimbra which are approx 45 mins drive. Summer festivals are held in Pampilhal and surrounding villages every year.

£100 deposit required at time of booking, balance payable 5 weeks prior to arrival. Please note if booking is made within 5 weeks of arrival date the total amount will be due immediately.
