Travel
Faro airport is 30 mins by car and the IP1 (A22) connects direct between Faro and Albufeira, the IP1 (A22) is 5mins by car from the apartment. Car hire is recommended but not essential.

Historic Albufeira is 3km, about 5mins by car from the apartment. Many restaurants, bars, shops and attractions.
Further details
Many of the Algarve's attractions are within easy reach, including Zoomarine, Aqua Land and Krazy World (reptile park, krazy golf etc). For a change of scenery, the historic town of Silves and the mountains of Monchique are less than an hour away. "Algarve Shopping", a large shopping mall is about a 10 minute drive. Here you will find a variety shops, a big supermarket, a bowling alley, a multi–screen cinema (some films are in English with Portuguese sub–titles).
