Casa Alto Mar is a well situated 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa with a heated pool on the outskirts of Carvoeiro (20 minute walk). The villa is set back from the main road on a quiet cul-de-sac. Alto Mar has beautiful sea views over the Atlantic and is only a 5 minute walk from the Vale de Centianes beach. The villa is fully equipped and generally appeals to one family or two families sharing a holiday. Carvoeiro is an old fishing village grown into a small residential seaside town with a lot to offer: beaches, restaurants, bars, shops, golf, tennis and other sports and outdoor activities - all without high-risers or big apartment blocks.

Notes on accommodation
The villa is on 2 levels.
On the main (upstairs) level there is a double bedroom, 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a lounge/dining room.
The other double bedroom with en-suite bathroom is downstairs with its own entrance from the patio/pool area.
All bedrooms have air-conditioning (also work as heaters).
Cots and highchairs available free of charge.
There is a telephone in the villa for incoming calls and local calls. No smoking inside the villa.
Outside
Patio with built-in barbecue and seating area by the pool (9m x 5m). The pool has a shallow end for children and can be heated for an extra cost (see pricing details). 8 sunbeds and mattresses are provided. There is a balcony with table and chairs overlooking the sea, perfect for alfresco dining.
The pool area is private.
Coast/Beach
The beach is a 5 minute walk away.
Golf
Vale de Milho 9-hole course within 5mins and 2 18-hole courses at Pestana golf within 10mins drive.
Several other courses within 20-30min drive such as Penina Championship course, Palmares, Morgado and the new Pestana Euro Golf in Silves.
Special interest holidays
Scuba diving, horse riding, organised walks, deep sea fishing and sailing tuition and other watersports available in the area.
Travel
45 minutes (Faro) or 2.5 hours (Lisbon or Sevilla in Spain).
Car hire can be arranged but is not essential. Pick-up from the airport on request. Off-road parking.

30% deposit (non-refundable) is required to confirm the booking, the balance due 8 weeks prior the start of the rental period. £100 refundable breakage deposit.

Fabulous time had by all. The villa is home from home so we wanted for nothing. The children loved the pool. Mike and Ems were the hostess with the mostest we couldnt have asked for more.
