Winter lets (550 euros per month + electricity). Casa Miramar is a 2 bedrooms townhouse, with sea and marina views and amenities very close. In 100m there is a supermarket, pub, cafe, restaurant, laundry etc. In 5-8 minutes walking you are at the Albufeira main beach or at downtown. The marina is down the hill. After 10 mins driving you can reach several other beaches, the biggest shopping mall of Algarve, the zoomarine, waterpark and Salgados golf course. Nightlife is downtown or 3 minutes driving to The Strip. Maid every 4-5th day. Special rates for long terms.

Notes on prices
Prices shown are for the property per day and per week, in euros. Discounts at long winter lets. Minimum of 3 days. Due to careless use of AC, we were obliged to put a fee of 50 euros for the AC controllers.
Changeover day
Any day. Check out untill 11 am.

Notes on accommodation
Summer nights are not very hot in Algarve and some times nights can be cool. Bring a jumper just in case. Attention to children walking around barefoot on wet floors. Ceramic floors are slippery when wet. The townhouse has a range of stairs and has split floors.

Outside
BBQ near the pool. Most supermarkets sell charcoal. Outdoor furniture and pool chairs. Private pool. Terrace at front.
Coast/Beach
The closest beach is Albufeira (tunnel and Fishermen beaches) at 5 minutes walking distance. By car there are many beaches around. Try Sao Rafael where the Portuguese President has a holiday villa, Castelo, Galé, etc.
Golf
Salgados Golf course is the closest, just 5 minutes driving. In Algarve there are 32 golf courses and most of them are reachable in half an hour.
Travel
Faro airport is at 30-35 minutes driving through motorway or even National Road 125. You do not need a car if you intend to lay down during the day and into the bars at night. But holidays are not only beach and to get sun burned.
Distances
Faro (shopping) at 35 minutes driving (Attn: do not try to go to Faro if the weather is cloudy - everybody thinks the same and there are monumental trafic jams). Silves 15 minutes, Portimão 15 minutes, Lagos 30 minutes, Sagres + 1 hour, Spain border 40 minutes, Spain Sevilla 2 hours.
Further details
Banks are open from 8am to 3pm. Traditional shops from 9 or 10 am to 1pm and from 3 to 7pm. Shopping malls always open. Alchool is available everywhere any time for people over 16yrs.
Tourist Board offices have always free booklets with all entertainment available for the month and several others.
Visit Vilamoura marina, have a tour along the coast in the Condor, try your chance in the casino. See the St Lourenco church near Almancil (EN125). Reserve a day to go to Silves, ancient capital of Algarve founded by the Romans, then go to Monchique to the highest point of Algarve and on a clear day, you can see all coast, have lunch in some of the good restaurants. After lunch drink a medronho (local firewater - just one, you have to drive) and part to Lagos. A nice small city. See the St Francisco church and the old slave market. Then come back enter in Alvor and go to Praia da Rocha, then back to EN125 and go through Lagoa and stop in Porches and see the potteries. You are tired now. Have a bath and go to a restaurant.
Booking notes
Minimum of 30% deposit of all stay on reservation (not refundable). Balance paid up to 30 days of check in. Security deposit may be asked, returned in the following week after check out if there are not breakages.

G'day, I am renting holiday properties since 1979. I have several properties in Albufeira for renting beside this one. Albufeira is my prefered place in Algarve, because it is lively all year round. Several beaches are around, golf courses at a short drive, theme parks, etc. At night we have several areas of entertainment and you will enjoy yourself.
As a Portuguese-Australian, you won't have any trouble to communicate with me and I will help you if in need at any time.
