The lovely city of Viana do Castelo, with big supermarkets and shopping mall, is only about 30 kms away. Porto airport (with services to/from Stansted through Ryanair) is about 1 hour away. Although in a quiet village, the house is in no way isolated, and there are general shops nearby. Numerous local restaurants. This is a house in a typical Lima Valley village, and therefore you can enjoy the stress-free traditional atmosphere that you seek.
