There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, which has patio doors out onto the pool. There are also 2 twin bedrooms. There is also a large sofa bed in the lounge. All the bedrooms have air conditioning, built-in wardrobes and mosquito nets on all the windows. Baby cots and additional single beds are provided free of charge. There is an en-suite bathroom with a shower attached to the master bedroom. There is family bathroom with a shower. Both these bathrooms have twin sinks. There is also a separate shower room and a shower by the pool. The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances and a built-in marble dining table. Large fridge/freezer, cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The dining room has a large dining table, which seats up to 8 people. Comfortable living/dining room with wood-burning stove for winter use and patio doors leading out onto a large terrace with sun loungers and umbrellas by the pool.

Notes on accommodation
All the bedrooms have air conditioning and built-in wardrobes. All the rooms also have free standing heaters for the winter and wood-burning fire in the lounge. The villa is very child-friendly.
Accessibility
The villa is on a single storey and has easy wheelchair access.
Outside
There is a private 9x5m mosaic heated swimming pool with an outdoor shower and sun terracing around the pool. There are small steps into the shallow end of the pool for children to use. There is a tiled marker on the base of the pool, which shows where the pool goes from shallow end to the deep end. The shallow end is 1 metre deep and the deep end is 2 metres deep. There is also a roof top sun terrace providing panoramic views over the mountains. The property is totally enclosed with safe areas at the back and side of the villa for young children to play. At the rear of the villa there is a separate seating/dining area with easy access to a built-in BBQ. There is also a shaded area near the swimming pool with a large table and chairs to eat. There are also public gardens and a children’s playarea.
Coast/Beach
A local bar and restaurant is within easy walking distance and the village of Guia is famous for its numerous (25 plus) good value restaurants. There are also there daily fish, fruit and vegetable markets as well as supermarkets. Guia is only a 5 min walk from Casa Romantica. The villa is in an ideal location for golfers and holidaymakers alike with Vilamoura being on 15 minutes away. The town of Albufeira and the new Algarve Shopping Centre are only a 5 min drive from the villa.
Golf
The Salgados Golf course in Vale De Parra and Balaia golf course in Albufeira are just 10 minutes drive away.
Travel
The villa is only 30 mins drive from Faro airport. Car hire is not essential, but recommended.
Distances
The villa is 10 mins drive from Albufeira, Carvoeiro and several water/theme parks. The beaches of Gale (Praia da Gale) and Castello are a 10 min drive away with excellent stretches of fine sand, panoramic views, beach bars and water sports. Local attractions include Water Slide Parks, Zoo marine (Aquarium/Seals/Dolphins), Krazy World (mini golf, reptile and animal parks), Zoo - Barão São João (Tropical birds, monkeys, domestic animals), Water skiing, Surfing, Swimming, Scuba Diving and Jet ski.

Several mini-markets are only a 5 minute walk away. There is a large super-market and Makro 5 mins drive away.
Booking notes
25% deposit is required with the initial booking. The final balance is due 10 weeks before arrival. A refundable security deposit of £200 per booking is payable with the final balance. Payments by cheque, bank transfer, international bank transfer and Paypal (4% charges) accepted. Rental Restrictions: no smoking and no pets. Winter bookings and long term rentals by arrangement.

Hi Steve, Just wanted to drop you and your wife a line to say how much we enjoyed staying at Casa Romantica for the 1st week of our holiday in Portugal. Your villa is absolutely superb and was everything we could have wished for. We had great fun in the pool and exploring that part of the Algarve - swimming with dolphins at the Zoomarine being one of the memorable outings. I know we'd like to stay there again at some point in the future - especially when our youngest is old enough to do the dolphin swim as well, instead of having to be an envious spectator!
