Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds and euros. Rents are payable in euros only. Shorter breaks are available during mid to low season. Gas and electricity are included. Discounts are available for long winter lets. An additional charge may be made for 6 occupants. Please ask at time of booking.

Changeover day
Saturday is preferred, but we are flexible in respect of the airline timetables.

There is a secure, underground garage below the apartment block as well as a parking area at the main entrance.

Outside
Doors from the living room and kitchen lead out onto a large south-facing balcony with outside dining table and chairs. The view from the balcony is of the sea, Meia Praia beach, Lagos Marina and medieval Lagos town.

Coast/Beach
The endless golden sands of Meia Praia are within comfortable distance (10 mins walk, 5 mins by car) where you are guaranteed to find plenty of space for sunbathing and plenty of cafés and bars for refreshments. The coves and grottos of Ponta da Piedade are also easily reached either by car (15 mins) or the many boat trips from the Lagos Avenida.

Golf
An ideal base for golfers as a short car drive will take you to several magnificent golf courses: Palmares 5 mins drive. BoaVista 10 mins drive. Parque de Floresta 20 mins drive. Slightly further afield are Penina and Alto Golf about 30 mins drive.

Travel
Faro airport is approx 50 mins by motorway. Lisbon airport is 2.5 hrs by motorway (toll). Seville airport is also 2.5 hrs by motorway. Lagos train station with connection to Lisbon and Faro is a 10 mins walk. Car hire is recommended to explore the magnificent surrounding countryside and beaches.

Zoo Marine Aquarium and amusement park at Acantarilha 20 mins. Lagos Zoo 20 mins. Sagres and Cap St. Vincent, the westernmost tip of Europe 45 mins. Silves historic town in the Monchique Mountains 60 mins. Several Water Parks within 30 - 45 mins. Krazy World, Zoo, playgrounds and Mini Golf at Lagoa 45 mins. Several surfer's beaches on the west coast 45 mins.

Further details
Lagos is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday. There are countless restaurants to be discovered in the winding, cobbled streets as well as at the Marina. Within 5 mins walk you will find Jardim das Dunas, with indoor heated swimming pool and gymnasium, at affordable entry prices. Boat trips are available to explore the coves and grottos as well as further out along the coast to Sagres, not forgetting the deep-sea fishing or the dolphin spotting trips. There are many beaches around Lagos and secluded bays further along the coast. On a very warm day, one may find the Monchique Mountains cool and relaxing. Palmares Golf and Boa Vista golf are only a few minutes by car, and with a lot of other golf clubs near by. Cap St. Vincent and the ‘Fortaleza’ in Sagres is also a must.

Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required when booking. The balance is required 8 weeks prior to the holiday. A refundable deposit of 100 EUR or 75 GBP is required and will be collected by our agent when you arrive and this will be returned to you provided there are no damages. By late bookings the full rental plus deposit is payable at the time of booking.
