Changeover day
Changeover is usually Saturdays, but can be flexible. Arrival after 15.00 hours, departure by 10.00 hours.

Notes on accommodation
The air conditioning can be used for heating as well as cooling, making the house suitable for winter lets also.
Please note smoking and pets are not allowed in the house.

Outside
Landscaped gardens surround the property. The furnished walled patio overlooks the pool making it easy to keep an eye on children whilst enjoying some privacy. The pool is for sole use of guests of all 11 houses. Each house has it's own pool loungers. The outside is well lit front and back, including access to secure parking area enclosed at back of property and barbeques/dining area. The development is maintained and cleaned regularly.

Coast/Beach
Closest beach is in Manta Rota 2km away - 5-10 min drive, 30-40 min walk. It is a blue flag beach with restaurants, car parking and lots of beautiful clean soft sand. From the coast at nearby town Vila Real de San Antonio you can get a ferry to Ayamonte, Spain for around 1.50 euro! The train to Vila Real de San Antonio costs about 1.50 euros.

Golf
There are many excellent golf courses in the area. The closest Quinta de Ria and Quinta Cima and the new Jack Nicklaus signature golf courses are 5 mins away. Benamor and Castro Marim 10 mins. All are 18 hole with clubhouse/restaurants and pro shops. Juniors are welcomed. Soft spikes are required.

Travel
Faro airport 35mins on A22 motorway. Car hire is recommended. However there is a bus route and train station in the town of Cacela, providing links to the whole Algarve, Lisbon and Spain.

Distances
1200m (5mins drive, 20 mins walk) to Cacela town with supermarkets, train station, bus stop, bank, florists, optician, restaurants, bars, etc. 7km from motorway junction. 50 km from airport. Other activities within 10km. Nearest bar with pool table 5 mins walk.

Further details
Other activities nearby include golf, fishing, go-karting, bowling, tennis, swimming, biking, water parks and theme parks, walking. There are some lovely restaurants within 5 minutes of house in Manta Rota, Cacela and many more in nearby towns Tavira or Monte Gordo. Monte Gordo also has a casino and many bars for late night entertainment within 15 minutes drive.

Booking notes
We require a 50% non refundable deposit to secure the booking. The 50% balance to be fully paid at least 8 weeks before arrival. A cash breakages deposit of 200 euros or £200 is required on arrival.
