Villa Sharma is a very spacious 4 bedroom/4 bathroom executive villa, which comfortably sleeps 10/11. It has air-con, Internet access, its own 10x5m south facing heated pool, fully equipped pool terrace, with a further BBQ terrace. Surrounded by lovely grassed garden, plot size approx one half acre. Fully gated for safety with lots of off road parking. The villa is furnished to the highest standard throughout. Cot and 2 extra portable beds provided allowing occupancy of 10/11. The villa is situated close to Moncarapacho, Estoi, Fusetta and Olhao. From here you can enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful unspoilt Eastern Algarve. Yet you are only 20-25 mins from Faro Airport, the Spanish border and major attractions of Central Algarve. Within 10-20 mins you can also access some first class golf courses including the championship Cima course, Benamor, Ria and Castro Marim. The beaches/islands in this area are quite wonderful. Come and enjoy the real Portugal.

Notes on accommodation
The pool will be heated mid March - end October each yearfree of charge. Pool unheated Nov to mid March but can be used. Villa Sharma is fully air conditioned providing cool air in hotter months, warm air in cooler months. We make an obligatory charge of £85/week for aicon (cool and warm)
All bedrooms are exceptionally spacious, (the ensuites are huge) and can easily accommodate extra portable beds and/or cot - all of which are supplied. There is also a highchair. All you have to supply is the cot linen.
Table tennis and darts in the basement.
The villa is gated with lots of off road parking. There is a very large grassy garden for children to safely play.

Outside
Villa Sharma is located on a plot approx 1700sqm surrounded by natural open countryside. The garden is large with small trees, shrubs and flowers. There is a substantial grassed area for children to play on and the property is fully gated. The heated pool pool is 10m x 5m and surrounded by extensive terracing and fully equipped with table, chairs, sun loungers and additional overhead shading. There is a second terrace with large BBQ. Large driveway for off road parking.
Coast/Beach
Fuseta with its wonderful beach is only 5-6 m away, there are other beaches close by and the stunning Altura beach is 20 mins away. Boats from Olhao, Fusetta, Cabanas and Tavira will take you to wonderful island beaches. Tavira beach has just been voted 4th best beach in Europe!! (Telegraph June 2005). The bigger Central Algarve beaches, water parks attractions are only 30-35 minutes away. This is a truly wonderful area, uncrowded and unspoilt.
Golf
Within 15-20 mins from this luxurious villa there are some of the finest golf courses in Portugal. To the East is Benamor, Quinta de Cima (championship course), Quinta de Ria and just over the border in Spain a further 5 more courses. 25 mins to the West you can access most of the Central Algarve courses. There is a 9 hole par 3 (described as very tight) course in Moncarapacho itself, also with pitch & putt - fun for all the family.
Travel
Faro airport is approx 20 - 25 mins drive away. Car hire is essential to enjoy the wonderful unspoilt Eastern Algarve. Seville airport is approx 1 hr 45 mins from the villa and low cost flights can be achieved via Iberia airlines. No problems hiring car in Spain and driving to Portugal.
Distances
Within easy distance are Tavira (regarded as the loveliest town in the Algarve), Estoi (with its Rococo palace - currently being developed into a Pousada - and Roman ruins), Olhao (with its wonderful fishing port, shops and fruit/fish markets) and of course Faro with its fine shopping malls. The nearby Ria Formosa National Park offers excellent walks, extensive beaches and bird watching. About 30 mins to Spain.
Further details
The small town of Moncarapacho is approx 3km away with several supermarkets, bars, excellent restaurants, petrol station, internet cafes, banks, cash machines, doctors, dentist, post office, churches, museum etc. Eating out on wonderful local fish and wine is still surprisingly inexpensive in this part of the world. Approx 800m from the villa is a excellent local bistro where clients go time and time again to enjoy local food. You will be hard pushed to spend more than 10 euros on food/drink.

25% deposit required. Balance payment + breakage deposit of £200 required 8 weeks before holiday. We have a fully automated booking/payment system, takes any currency using any credit/debit card. Price includes: free heated pool mid March to end October, all linen/towels, villa cleaning, services of English managers throughout your holiday.

We are 7 Austrian people, never been to Portugal. It was really lovely, everything. Local bistro fantastic, went there half the time!! Fresh food and drink very inexpensive. We hope to come again soon. (August)
Just returned and booking 2009. A very special place, peaceful, bit rustic but very very good. Felt like the real Portugal.
