The area of the land is extensive, about 5000m² with a great variety of indigenous plants and trees. The private pool is quite large: 13m x 5m - you can enjoy a good swim there!

Notes on accommodation
Overall, the villa is a lovely spot to relax in simple peaceful ambience with good level of equipment. A perfect family retreat offering very reasonable prices which may suit families who love to enjoy natural surroundings. The retired owner couple lives in a completely separate apartment on the premises, looks after the property and when asked after the well-being of the guests but they will never interfere with your privacy and enjoyment of your holiday. They also will not use the pool nor the garden area. We have to add, that there are 3 tiny dogs and cat with the owners, they are kept away from the guests, are absolutely harmless and do not disturb your sleep with barking attacks. A true country home and perfect for children who will love to explore the neighbourhood. There is no passing traffic.

Outside
Very beautiful, well grown garden with indigenous plants ie. avocado trees and grapevines surrounding the pool area with fantastic views to the Monchique mountains, almond, olive, orange and citrus trees, a great variety of herbs - all cultivated by the owner who just loves gardening! The pool area is surrounded by lawn, there is sufficent sun lounges, chairs, table, shades...

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are in and around Lagos, there is the long fine sandy beach of Meia Praia: approx. 7km (ideal for small children).
the beautiful bay of Porto Mós: approx 9km.
There is the Praia da Batata, Praia do Pinheiro, Praia do Camilo ...... and all with beach bars to enjoy some ice creams and grilled fish!

Golf
The nearest golf courses are in Lagos:
Palmares golf course, the most stunning in terms of location with the most magnificent views overlooking the whole coast and the town of Lagos: approx. 10km
Boavista golf course: new golfcourse and golf resort just outside of the western end of Lagos: approx. 10km

If you are interested the owner may give you some pottery lessons. She is a very creative artist and would love to teach you in this art. Please ask for more details.

Booking notes
We request a 30% deposit with the reservation and the reminder payable 8 weeks prior to your arrival.
Once you have confirmed your reservation we will send you an invoice with bank details and other relevant information.
Also, we will meet you at our meeting point in Lagos at your arrival, will accompany you to the property - you do not have to find the villa yourselves in the middle of the night! - and introduce you to the facilities.
