Casa Lousada is a superb new villa situated on the Pestana Vale da Pinta golf course in a gated complex with 9 other villas. It has three air conditioned double rooms all en-suite. The master bedroom has a sun terrace with Jacuzzi overlooking the 3rd green. The three double doors lead onto the large south facing terrace and surrounding lawns. The large shared pool with children's paddling pool is situated close to the villa, providing fun for youngsters and security for parents.

Changeover day
The preferred changeover day is Saturday, but the owners are flexible. Arrival is from 2pm and departure by 10am. However this can be varied in individual circumstances and there are facilities to store luggage and take showers if necessary.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms are centrally heated and there is air-conditioning in all bedrooms.
The villa is ideal for children as it provides a safe environment for younger children as it is on a fully secured complex with surrounding fences and with the shared pool being a short distance from the villa. For older children the shared pool provides a wonderful opportunity to meet other children staying at the small number of villas in the complex.

Accessibility
The villa provides good wheelchair access with one of the bedrooms on the ground floor with access directly from the terrace if required. All areas can accommodate a wheelchair.
Outside
Casa Lousada has a large built in barbecue just outside the kitchen. There are large terraces to 2 sides of the villa with patio doors from the downstairs bedroom and lounge, with a large outside table seating 6, an umbrella and 6 sun-loungers. The villa is surrounded by lawns and low level planting. There is a gated security fence around the complex with remote control access. The shared 15m pool with todders paddling pool, is a very short walk from the villa and is surrounded by sun-loungers with umbrellas.
Coast/Beach
The villa is situated within easy access of many of the beautiful Algarvian beaches. The owners favourite, Caneiros, a delightful sheltered cove, is approx 5 minutes by car. It is possible to walk to Caneiros along the cliffs which gives stunning views of the coastline, however it is long walk and should be rewarded by a lunch at the outstanding seafood restaurant on the beach! There are plenty of other beaches also within a similar short drive, including coves and long open stretches of sand.
Golf
Casa Lousada is situated on the 3rd green of the prestigious Pestana Vale da Pinta course. The Pinta clubhouse is less than 2 minutes from the villa. The sister course, Gramacho, is also a very short distance from the villa. The Pestana Golf Academy is also within walking distance of the villa. Tee times at Pinta or Gramacho can be booked directly at both the Pinta and Gramacho clubhouse, or in advance of your stay. The owners, Jill and Steve, are happy to provide you with any necessary information or make bookings on your behalf before your arrival. Their website is linked to the Pestana site. Spa Treatments:
Why not spoil yourselves and book a spa treatment during your holiday? What greater luxury than a wonderfully relaxing aromatherapy massage or refreshing Indian Head massage. Maybe you didn’t have time whilst getting the family ready for the holiday for that all important manicure and pedicure to show off those nice new sandals! These treatments and more can all be provided on site at the villa. We can arrange treatments to be given by a qualified therapist and beautician as well as a qualified reflexologist. No need to make it stressful and worry about how to get there, who’s got the car, what about the children and all those other concerns. Simply book your treatment, sit back and relax. Tennis:
Tennis, either court times, lessons or courses, can be booked at the nearby Carvoeiro Tennis Club. Contact the owners for further information.
Travel
The nearest airport is Faro which is approximately 60km from the villa. Car hire is recommended and the owners can provide details of competitive companies.
Distances
Casa Lousada is less than 10 minutes by car from the centre of Carvoeiro with its numerous restaurants. Lagoa and Estombar are also less than 5 minutes by car. The old moorish town of Silves is approximately 15 minutes by car. Splash & Slide is less than 2 minutes from the villa by car. Other water parks and Zoo Marine are also within easy driving distance.
Further details
The Pinta and Gramacho clubhouses provide meals and snacks throughout the day. Gramacho also has a restaurant open later in the evening. There are other restaurants close to the villa. The nearest supermarket is at the Gramacho site, which is within walking distance. A larger supermarket is within a 5 minute drive.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment of the balance should be made 8 weeks before departure. A refundable damage deposit of £150 is also required. Payment can be made electronically or by cheque. The owners will provide further information when a booking is made.
