Notes on prices
Prices are per week. Stays of less than a week can be arranged out of peak season. Deduct 5% if booking for 2 consecutive weeks or more. Changeover days flexible. Rental period including Easter Hols is at May rate. Long term winter rate discounts considered.

Bathrooms: En-suite shower room to Bedroom 1 with jacuzzi bath/shower, hand basin, WC and bidet.
Main bathroom with jacuzzi bath/shower, hand basin, WC and bidet.
Both are fully tiled with built in vanity units, lights.
Kitchen: Fridge/freezer, w/machine, dishwasher, electric oven/hob, extractor, microwave, kettle, coffee-maker, toaster, iron/ironing board and hairdryer. Fully equipped with crockery, cutlery etc. Patio door to balcony with table, chairs and brick built barbeque.
Living Rooms: Spacious room with door to balcony with views of mountains. Full length windows along one wall. Comfortable sofas (1 good dble sofa bed) and dining area; marble floor. Satellite TV (English channels), DVD, CD audio system. Log fire for winter nights.
Other: Large hall with fitted wardrobes, solid cherry doors leading to all rooms and double glazed doors leading to lounge diner.
Videophone entry from entrance lobby.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels, tea towels and linen are provided and changed weekly. Guests need to use their own beach towels. Property will be cleaned prior to arrival and additional cleaning can be provided on a weekly basis if requested at small extra charge.

 

Notes on accommodation
All windows are double glazed with electric shutters. The air -conditioning units also double as heaters for the winter. High security entrance door and automatic door to the undergound parking area with allocated space. All balconies have stainless steel railings which may be a safety issue for young children.

Accessibility
Full wheelchair access from undergound garage via lift. No steps in apartment but one flight of stairs to get to the roof terrace.

Outside
60 sq.m. tiled private roof terrace with views of the sea and mountains, hot tub, power, lights, sun loungers, sun umbrella, table and chairs.

Coast/Beach
Nearest beach, the Ilha of Tavira is 2km. It is accessed by ferry (1 Euro - 1.30 Euro return in high season) which can be reached by walking to town and catching the road train or is a 5 minute drive. The Blue flag golden sand beach stretches all the way to Faro and has restaurants, toilets/showers sun shades, beach volleyball and football nets. Beaches also stretch in the opposite direction all the way to the Spanish border.

Golf
The owners are keen golfers and can advise on courses. Benamor is 5 minutes drive, Quinta Da Ria and Quinta Da Cima 10 minutes, Monte Rei 15 minutes and Castro Marim 20 minutes. As the apartment is only 5 minutes from the motorway that runs along the Algarve from Spain (20 mins) to Lagos (1 hour) most golf courses can be reached in less than an hour.

Travel
Tavira is a 25 minute drive from Faro Airport. Car hire is recommended but not essential. There is a train station approx a half mile walk from the apartment and the railway line runs from Monte Gordo in the East to Lagos in the West.

Distances
The apartment is 5 minutes from the motorway that runs from Spain to Lagos so any part of the Algarve is easily accessible by car. A good selection of shops and restaurants are less than 1km.

Booking notes
A 50% deposit is required upon reservation and the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security/breakage deposit of £150 is payable with the balance and is refunded at the end of your holiday after an inspection of the apartment has taken place and the keys returned.
